When you attend the festival with the yukata, a kid will say something about making you mine. After that, going around the map and look for trees that have circles on them, the kid will come in and slap your butt. Do it three times, then go to the small house near Summit Lake.
The first tree is left of Village Square, the second tree is north of the Village Square, the last is in Summit Lake.
For those looking for the loincloth quest you need to change the time to midnight and the blacksmith is at the beach you started at.
How do you get that one guy in the locked house at the port to open the door? I managed to do it in a previous version but since I got the newest version today I cannot remember how I managed to do it. He's the last villager I need to talk to before I can activate the second shrine I believe, I've done all the quests and talked to everyone multiple times now.
EDIT: You talk to the one guy in the house directly north who gives you the water fetching quest and he mentions him, then you knock on the door and he comes out. Not sure how I got to that dialogue in the first place, you might have to try to open the locked house first and then talk to him after.

You need to complete the loincloth quest first find him on the beach you started on at midnight after getting the loincloth from the ghost uncle the guide talks about and then he'll be in his house and you can give him the hoe.
I'm stuck trying to find a character named Futoshi, anyone got any clue? It says go to the festival but I did an event there and then couldn't find him again
There is no prompt for any second tree. I checked both day and night, there's nothing.
Edit: It's not north of the Village Square. It's by the entrance to the deep forest.
