I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I seem to not be able to do the quest where we help the principal do some crime fighting that happened the last time I played this game

Are there any comparisons anywhere? It always terrifies me when authors do this, lol. So many times I feel like the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra should come into play.

Why does this game have the loli tag? Far as I can tell off the vndb page, there aren't any characters who'd qualify.
i see it says again old saves arnt compatable does that mean each update breaks save or was the 1 time thing

I've had my eye on this title for awhile. It's coming along slowly, but surely, and I appreciate that.
I like the inclusion of the dialogue entries a lot. In fact, I feel that many game developers never give their characters enough to say. When I see these Honey Select harem games, I'm always a little let down when they make a beautiful character in their "easy-bake oven", and then just throw them into the game. You can fuck them, but having a chat is off-limits!
Something about being able to talk to the characters is soothing and really helps to bring the game world to life.
The outfits are a nice touch. I love Lulu's short and long hairstyles! It's weird being able to strip Lulu after our first conversation, but I'm not here to whine about specifics. The Megumin content is a plus!
That being said, I wish you, the devs, the best of luck on your title going forward given that you feel like you finally have your introduction set in stone. I'm really excited to see what kind of "magic" you can do.

If you ask me, both are downgrades, but I will be as constructive as I can with my critique
Lilith went from a highly caring overworked teacher, to a bit of an overworked grump, almost a full 180 of her from selfless to more selfish
Maeve went from a matured by her position and many responsibilities as headmistress of a financially struggling school, yet young look, to a less refined and sympathetic expression, in my humble opinion.

If you made a new save from that update it will work for this one just fine.

Is there no music or sound? I'm playing through the intro and met the witch lady but haven't heard anything
What a shame. Soul v soulless in the first one, like the girl lost her soul. Like she's in her edgy teenager phase all of a sudden.
Second one in't as bad but still looks like a totally different character. She looks like her own mom.
Just replay the game and still in very early stage but so far I prefer the old version much more: I really don't like the new opening and the change in personality of the characters like Lilith and Maeves. The old Lilith despite overworked and looked tired always have a cheerful spirit in her, not the grumpy lady in this one. Meaves in the old version despite being a bit clumsy and shy sometimes, she's still show the air of an adult and a principal of a magic school. The redesign really not to my liking either, not just that but the cool head vibing character's introduction got cut out really make it feel more downgrade

gotta agree sadly. i hope they give us the option to use the older versions as costumes from the get go in future updates. i don't think these new ones are bad at all but i much prefer the older ones.

The new character models also seem to be of an art style with less charm in general.
