I guess the Author thinks that his long rantings/lessons on how magic is supposed to work in the game's world are necessary and scenes where MC is shagging the hot chicks aren't.

He is still not all-powerful. He is learning and practicing and his last fight was really bad ass.
I can safely say that the MC will be a baddass if he isn't one alrdy. He just needs to know how to control his newfound powers.
And like dude said, the last fight was truly a pleasure for me as an epic battle enjoyer lol. NO fr, that last fight scene was incredible. I don't want to spoil you so just go and try it you'll enjoy it for sure, just be a little patient bc he'll be traing for some time b4, but this helps us understand, the worldbuilding, what is happening, how and what is the power they are using...

there is a beach scene where they are naked and make out but that's about it. I was on the same page but over time I really grew to like Chloe, she is a sweetheart and she has some great scenes.

Man, looking at the latest reviews of this game just makes me realize that people have different tastes. It's just weird since I'm usually on the other side of things going, "This game is shit!".
