Well I figured out why I couldn't get the key. The game has a hard cap on how many talismans that spawn if you have a large amount of money, if you have way too much they will stop spawning. The key looks to be coded as a talisman pickup, the only way to get it is to sell all your talismans and edit your save (

) and change the money amount to something like $100000 or so. Then they will start spawning again and eventually when you pick one up it will be the key.

I wish I could cheat the android version, getting your phone rooted is difficult

Don't care if you cheat or not. You just have to stfu about it and not come in here crying some random stuff disapears/the game crashes/max $ makes nothing spawn anymore
