Well, in my playthrough, canceling the walk of shame is quite real, I'm on the route with Bella, and most likely their relationship will be a secret, but I'm not sure about the other girls.

The Walk of shame doesn't work with Bella anyway, remember ?

You make it sound like that's a bad thing, but that's one of the reasons I like the game! (I suspect I'm in the minority here).

There's a difference between good drama and bad drama. People aren't complaining because the drama in BaDIK is the good kind. A lot of it is shoehorned just for the sake of it, without any realistic justification in-story.

Don't understand the fascination with Quinn. Some might argue that there's a backstory behind her behaviour. That might be so, but that doesn't mean she has to be an idiot to everyone around her. Might be of interest if the MC forced her to her knees and into submission. Maybe she messes up badly (again) and needs the MC's help.

I never saw the stare that she gave them, but I can certainly imagine it scaring everyone in the mansion who saw it

Left me with tears in my eyes. Eventhough we knew it was coming to this.
What made me mad though was that this MC fucker just grab the phone. FFS he should had the decency to visit her. She did everything for him!!! Gave him shelter, food, comforting him and supporting him everywhere she could. And even worse she opened up. To get pummeled down by that phonecall. And even then... she feels for MC. But look at her sitting there.... Made me hate the MC at that moment...

that's fair enough, it's just my own opinion on it, but from the choices I've seen, all the DIK stuff, to me, is a not-so-very-nice-person route; the weed, the HOTs, the fake ID, etc. It's how I process it, and it's opinion based of course,, but from what I've seen, and how I translate it, it's not a good lifestyle or life outlook to have or be in.

People can say that being nice in real life is a bit boring. Billy Joel said it best: "I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints, sinners are much more fun, only the good die young."

Me personally, like I said, I bring my own views to the game, but from what I see, I see nothing redeeming about a hardcore DIK route. Could it lead to Quinn's redemption? Possibly, and that would be a good thing. It could lead the many good things towards the end of the game, and the destination may be better than the journey.

I for one, as a Permanent CHIK player, find much more joy in the things and in the route that I play, which we all know what it is. It's all about viewpoint, what each player, what each person, wants to enjoy. And my full-on Jill route may not be interesting to some (or most) but to me, it makes me feel good as a person that I made the right choices; her dinner party with her friends, the recital, talking Derek out of revenge, flushing the answer sheets, not taking the weed or fake ID.

Those are my personal choices and it's how I see the game. I never went away to college, so I don't have that view of campus college life, but I'm pretty damn sure I'd not do any of the DIK-type stuff in this game as I would IRL. Especially knowing there'd be consequences, and I wasn't raised that way.

I guess being older too makes my thinking to some seem alien. To me, all the DIK choices are "scumbag-y," that's just how I see it; Quinn's restaurant, the Pink Rose, the HOTs, cheating, weed, etc. It's not a path I'd ever want to be on, and in turn, it's not a path my MC will be on.

Like I said, completely personal opinion and point of view.

And being an ass in this game is no different than choosing Rena at the end of AL, because in my opinion, she has HOTs written all over her, as Ana did in my mind. To me, that was the asshole choice in AL; shooting Peter, or being with Leah or Rena, to me, those are bad DIK choices

Interesting to see someone whose opinion on these matters is completely different from my own. You mentioned the way you've been raised as a reason for, well, being a CHICK and it's so unlike what I've been taught. Don't get me wrong - my parents didn't teach me to smoke pot, hehe, but yeah, things like beating up Troy, standing up for yourself against the Alphas, getting revenge on that nerd who threw a water balloon at Derek - those things are natural to me and not to be discussed.

I guess this game is a way for me to experience some things I've never done during my college years. I've done only a few BaDIK-level things for six years of studying and those were some things MC is doing every episode more than once! Bah, fucking pathetic!

Even what you said about Rena is different from what I feel about her, because for me the moment I saw her first time I knew - this is the girl I'm going for.

So yeah, even though your posts seem pretty alien this is exactly why I enjoy them! Hope to read some more from you

There were more than one scene where the walk of shame didnt happen after a girl left the MCs room out of respect or just fear... Bella only needed one glance and they stopped, after Josy comes out everyone stopped cause she is the sister of Tommy... Jill is a much respected person around campus too, and of course everybody (except the MC) knows she is a royce... i dont think Rusty would be ok with a walk of shame on her, and my gues would be, they would stop if the DIKs see her. But just to get "caught" maybe would have been a problem for Jill some time ago... but now? As officially "Girlfriend" ? I dont think so. She would be annoyed by it, but i dont think that it would affect her that much overall... she is in love with the MC, the MC is a dik, and she is very aware of it that the DIKs are party animals with nearly no shame... so at this time, i think she would stand over it without to much bother.

Well the MC does know she's a Royce, after he dropped off Cathy at her house, he went back to Bella's and she let that secret out. Well, my MC knows it anyway

Just done with the Bella route for Ep. 8 and holy shit I knew Jill was gonna find out but not THAT blatantly. I expected her to have had walked in after the shit "date" with Tybalt as she might've wanted to vent to Bella but GOD DAMN THINGS DID NOT GO AS EXPECTED AT FUCKING ALL. Damn this is why people don't fuck as much in daylight in front of windows, huh?

Anyway, I felt like Bella's route was more extensive, dramatic, insightful and overall much more attractive than Sage's in Ep. 8. Maybe it could be because we've been left blue-balled in the first few episodes with little to no sex scenes as compared to the other LIs but it really felt like Bella's route was just popping with content this time around. And the femdom shit she pulled was, quite honestly, incredibly sensual and arousing.

Too lazy to get into detail about all my thoughts since it's 2:30 a.m. and I'm feeling lethargic as fuck rn but holy hell Bella's route definitely slays in Ep. 8 IMO. View attachment 1527996

Well we are going to have different views; I'm not apologetic about mine, you're not about yours, and every one else has the freedom to state how they feel. I was raised by my grandparents, so with them (being from the WWII generation), I saw things differently and what they instilled on me was different than what most people might learn, that's probably why I am the way that I am.

I was heavily bullied and picked on in school, and only fought back in self-defense. I was lucky enough to find like-minded people to be friends with that avoided all the "DIK-type" things that this game portrays. I feel lucky about all of it, that's all. I know it's neither here nor there to people these days, but I'm grateful, and thankful.

So if anyone wants to come after me, fine. I'll just Ignore those who do, smile about it, and keep going on.

Bella awakening her sexuality has been a pretty big part of her story arc.

The intro to this episode says how adventurous she was sexually in the past (even in public) but something at some point changed and she became the “ice queen”. The MC awakens something in her again (early on she masturbates and comments how no man has made her feel this way in a long time) and the finale of this episode has her back to being sexual.

I think this is more what Bella is like. Fucking on the kitchen table is Bella now she’s gotten over whatever was keeping her the way she was at the start of the story.

I still think Bella's issue was that she lost her child. The room behind the locked door is a nursery, and the death caused her and her husband to split. I could see that turning her into the ice queen. There was something said during the end sequences with Bella where the MC joked that Bella was her mommy. She said never call me that again. At first I thought it was a DPC joke reference to where MC calls Jade mommy all the time, but then I thought about it and now think it has deeper meaning.

I am a bit confused about affinity and DIK points. I know that affinity determines which LI’s route you can start. But how do DIK points affect the gameplay? Can someone help explain this?

Affinity is the attribute name of DIK and CHIK points. There isn't a DIK and Affinity points, both DIK and CHIK points are variables that accumulates values depending on your choices. Concretely, DIK can be thought of EVIL side and CHIK GOOD side.

Generally speaking, some scene actions may demand some prior decisions to be playable. Now, if you can engage sexual relationship with girls heavily depends if you're a DIK or a CHIK. Maya and Josy strictly demands you to be neutral.

Some decisions will mark you down as either CHIK or a DIK depending on how you choose. it's actually pretty simple

Also Derek really has matured throughout these 8 episodes..... I never realized this in my first playthrough of Ep. 8 but only just noticed that he actually knew how many questions required extra reading and that just absolutely blew my mind. Dude's actually studying on his own outside of the library scene (where he was just goofing off) shown. HE'S ACTUALLY STUDYING AND IS AGAINST CHEATING FOR ONCE. God damn.
