I'm pretty sure it's also not a 100% chance they go sterile anyway; I don't think I have that trait on everyone, but inbreeding occasionally still works.

But I put so much effort in customizing the appearance of my main character and am trying to maximize the inheritance of those looks into a selection of my monsters
editing game code sounds even more difficult that opening up the save in hex... unless there's a way you would like to share?

I played this a few years ago but figured id give it a while because at the time it had very little to do, was a bit lacking in different creature types, and crashed constantly.
Just tried it again. Exactly the same amount of things to do but now you have to painstakingly unlock them all, has exactly 1 more creature type, and crashes three times as much.
All that combined with how pretentious and in-your-face the writer is about only including his specific sexual preferences, I just dunno if this one is worth the space it takes up on my drive.

Not gameplay per-say, but my use of the BOTN tools to organize my monster list now breaks my save somehow, unlike a week ago... so that's just lovely.
EDIT: Nevermind, older saves work fine... after some experimentation, apparently it's the Stoic trait of all things I recently acquired that breaks the save if you try to reorder your monsters. So just batch-removing Stoic fixed things. Fortunately that's probably the least useful / interesting trait...

Best way I can think of would be using the variant editor code, and then copying your breeder appearance onto all the different variants of monsters; Once saved, that'd literally make doppelgangers of you (or as close to the same appearance as possible) start spawning in the wild. You could then alternate between them and you to continually move your monsters towards your appearance.

Oh god, that's like in the very very beginning of when this game was coming out lol. Then after awhile the style changed.
Been a numbers of years since I last played this. Quick question, are you able to change positions while doing it with wild Nephelym now, or is that still exclusive to the ones you have already captured?

You can click on a wild Nephelym and choose one of 3 options, including two sex positions ("Request sex" and "Wild sex") and one position for oral sex.
The same scheme works with the vagrant Nephelym which you assign to roam around the barns.
As regards sex with captured nephs in the breeding yard, you have to unlock the positions first, which is a very long way to go (use cheat code "all sex positions" if you don't want to bother with that).
I can also no longer interact with vagrants. They just stand there right next to their barn in the idle animation and the interact option does not appear when I go near them.

I can't find the facesitting scene that you can sometimes find in the wild between two female nephelyms
been a while since i played has the breeder gotten any traits of their own yet or is it only the monster girls that get them.

Ok, when I go to make a character why aren't any of the body type edits I'm doing carrying over?
The colors are staying just fine but the body keeps coming out in the default settings outside of gender.

dunno if i understood the issue, but from what i learned, when you make custom "skins" for the Nephelym, i noticed that thebody-build and skin stick together,
for example, lets take a dragon, and we remove the wings, giving them a lizard apperance, and then give them some stripes, if we breed this nephelym, depending on the options, we will either get a different dragon and their pre-set color, or a different skin but with the colors of the parrents. either way the body stays the way it was saved within said skin.
so yeah, bodysize is not taken into account when breeding, unless one of the traits that affect the body is involved. you'll have to edit all the official nephelym to fit your preferred bodysize to make sure all of them look the way you want.
