But anything related to minors is a red line
Other professionals made me aware it was an issue to them and in their circles, so it could taint anyone who worked with us. I can't take that risk.

I mean- you could simply add a single line that identifies addison as not underage. You are making an incest game- you're fully aware it's fiction. You could even have a disclaimer that says "All characters are 18+" At the start of the game. People thinking being too short = being young are just idiots. There's JAV pornstars that are under 4'5...
No one is legally a minor here- it's all clearly fictional characters.. So you gave in- when you didn't need to. There were no shortage of other avenues you could have taken and instead you made a graphical change in a game where that's arguably it's biggest appeal. If it was something you decided on your own I wouldn't have a problem with it. The "issue" other creators are referencing are these people angry at fiction- who can not fully separate it from their own reality... It's the end of artistic expression to give into people like that. Obviously stay out of legal problems- but this was not one of those... It's just peoples personal bias and dislike of the character type.
Well it's just my principles... But I'd rather creators make games for those who support them as the focus and listen to actual critique that isn't based entirely on personal opinion. I wish the project success either way.

There's a difference between small and underage and if these circles don't know the difference that says a lot about them. Also idk why they're okay with fictional incest but draw the line at small looking characters or anything that could be perceived as underage. Also idk why you're trying to appease them over the actual fans especially since it seems you have a decent following already. I wonder how many subscribers are gonna come back to this project after not checking it for a while to see their small femboy turn into a large femboy over some random twitter artists. I can't imagine I'd be happy with that.
Edit: Also "I would have held fast on anything else" is a lie. If these random artist circles had drawn a red line at incest or anything else you'd be bending the knee to be able to interact with them. This isn't a good look because you're willing to just change your project to appease random artists. If they considered incest to be a problem this'd be a stepcest game.
