This is a surprisingly strong start to what looks like a damned good murder mystery. The MC is interesting, with what seems like a well-rounded character. He's a little arrogant and a bit careless with his friendships, but he's also driven and goal-oriented and trying to do better with his interpersonal relationships. I like a flawed protagonist.
The story starts with a literal bang and hits the ground running. There are hints of sexiness, relationship building and a dash of the supernatural (maybe?) that spice up the core mystery. I am 100% on board after playing the first chapter.
