Has this game been abandoned?

There hasn't been an hour's worth of gameplay in any build that has been put out of this game since it started development, the creator goes MIA for months, and then only comes back with an april fool post saying the dream is alive this month. I'd say that it is safe to slap the abandoned label on here until he comes out with an actual chunk of content a person could put the title "game" on with a straight face.

The game would be updated in APRIL. One more day left.
We have also already heard that this guy has told his patrons this same thing on April Fools 2 years running.

Sort of.
I've been assembling all the disjointed parts from Succulence 2 over the past few weeks.
It takes a while, so here's the game-plan:
By second half of May I'll be done with clumping all the un-released stuff together, along with whatever adjustments I'll deem necessary.
And then I'll release that, and we'll see what happens next.
I'll make a notification post when the release is 2-3 days away.
The page will stay dark until then."

Considering how things have been going since the start of development on this game "by second half of May" could mean the end of September.
I think the most true statement ever spoken is him saying "the page will stay dark until then."

This developer is very slow. The first part was updated, at best, once every six months. In the end, I gave up on it, and after 4 years I came across it again, and it was already almost finished. The content had already been completely added, only bugfixes were released.
So don't expect quick progress. If the development speed is +- the same as the first part, the game will be ready no earlier than in 7-8 years.

He says " By second half of May I'll be done with clumping all the un-released stuff together " , so i think it means, that hes done with moving pictures from one folder to another. After that starts next phase - assembying game files, so this point moves to next month(year) and so on, so on...

Only difference is the fat friend only effects themselves. With R.Nest its everyone he sets that expectation to.
