I'm curious to know what you guys love and hate. So, do you like rich stories, or 100% lewd games?
Honestly really depends, a lot of games that give you a "choice" really don't, because everyone is gonna meta game and just pick all the choices that gives them all the girls in one run. Now games designed with very distinct split paths that happen early on are nice and I do enjoy those. And do you prefer following the story like a book, or having to make choices that can matter?
I'll keep that in mind!I hate the illusion of choice. If I decide to kill someone in a videogame, I want that to either negatively impact my character or give me a better reward than the 'good choice' would've given me. That's why I love Dishonored: if you decide to kill more people, the number of guards and weepers you face in later missions increases, and you end up getting a bad ending. But if you decide to sneak around and don't kill anyone, more options will open up to you, and the characters you interact with will react more positively to you, and you will end up getting a good ending.
But does this really constitute as 'giving choice?'I hate the illusion of choice.
