Besides most of these games are in 1st person, so this is help in my immersion.

Sometimes. Though the girls that are supposed to be college students from fairly well to to families who have a bunch are pretty odd to me. Personally I started to play adult games because I wanted more developed romances, I just felt that the romances on normal games just didn't feel right and had no meaning, also in games in which the world wanted to give a feeling of "fucked up" such as fallout series for example I always found the lack sexual explotation quite annoying.

Basically some settings were lacking to feel more real in my book, that's why for example when I played Rance series, especially Rance VI I was quite satisfied that we can see the dangers of the world.

I totally understand what you are talking about. There are some things which are categorically not considered "ethical", reasons can be anything from societal to religious. So without having to go into that burden we escape and accept easier approach and try to understand what emotions would I feel if I were to do such thing, what would I do in such a scenario, what consequences will I face, etc. And these games give us that area to experience in a safe environment, without causing any harm or damage to others.

A couple of different reasons. First one is obviously i dont get laid enough ^^' Be it my horrific image or my pending ticket to a sanatorium, i leave for you to decide.

Second reason(s), i like Anime/Manga/Comics/Books and i learned to ride a bicycle by being blackmailed with getting a GameBoy, the foundation of a life entangled in games. I'm a lot like that too. I really like my real life, but its very vanilla and always has been, and I didn't have nearly the fun that I'd like to have before I settled down. So games are a portal to where I can pretend to do things I never got the chance to do, whether those are things a lot of people actually do IRL or more way out there unrealistic ones.
