An all around great experience, though a little repetitive after your first two dozen stuck up milf bodied bitches. The translation is great with no lines of dialog that feel sloppy. I only wish there were more intimate scenes between the protag and the main heroines.

This spoiler-free review is based on my playthrough up to Episode 1, Part 3

If you just wanna know if it's worth playing, the answer is a resounding yes. It's a top of it's class game. It has great story, great cg/art and great sex scenes.

Now to get in the details, I'll split the review in sections:

Characters
They aren’t bland. Each character possesses a distinct personality, imbuing them with a sense of soul rather than merely appearing artificial.

CG/Art
Overall, it’s excellent. It effectively conveys the story. In certain instances, it’s actually flawless. Lighting is extremely important for this type of CG/Artstyle, and it's done magnificently; You can see it in the preview screenshots. The sex scene CG/Art is almost god tier, but lacks animations (I'll talk about that later in the review). My biggest complaint about the overall CG/Art is that in some places they lack detail, and enough to ruin the immersion.

text and UI
I'm just gonna mention the negative things: There are occasional mistakes in the writing, which is honestly quite disappointing for a game of this caliber. There's a super annoying dark vignette at the bottom of the screen at all times and disappears temporarily solely if I press H or the mouse wheel. Doesn't have an option to hide quick settings.

Music
It's amazing, and it positively contributes to the overall immersion.

Story
For an adult vn, which often have bad, average, and/or bland stories, this one is actually decent. The dialogue is great and soulful. The humour is above average and actually funny sometimes. I never felt the need to rush through the story just to reach the sex stuff. It’s an overall enjoyable experience. Definitely better than 95% of the adult vn out there. I'm glad that there are dialogues I can skip, otherwise I would find reading unwanted content quite tedious. There was a major sex scene, and it's one of the best I've seen; That shit was super hype and well made. The story actually builds great anticipation towards the sex content, and it doesn't disappoint once it gets there. It actually exceeds expectations.

The dev mentioned on the f95 game page that animations are planned for future updates, but he wants them all be custom made because the koikatsu animations have already been seen by everyone in other games. I'm all for this. This game already has almost god tier sex scenes, so if animations are gonna be added, it has to be done right otherwise the viewer's imaginative expectations will be ruined and the overall quality of the game will plummet.

Honestly, I'm just super excited for the future of this game. Great job dev

Definition of function over form.

Bad -
Graphics are awful so the sex looks pretty awkward but honestly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Good -
The open-world gameplay sets it apart. The game world is open from the start and you get zero hand-holding after the minute-long tutorial. More games need to be like this. It lets you interact with the girls you want and ignore the parts you don't like.

SHORT:
If you're just wanting a game with a tiny thread of a story, kinetic (no choices that really matter), and just getting quickly from one sex scene to another, you might enjoy this. It's decidedly average, but relatively short with a silly story, silly events. Mind the rough English though.


MODELS:
About what you would expect from many VNs. Mostly big chested, but there is some variation with characters representing different ethnicities. Some animations are a bit rough, but certainly serviceable. You likely won't like them all (though you will fuck them in the game), but should be something for most folks.


STORY:
Not a lot to see here. A brief introduction to tell you why you are where you are. Characters get brief introductions with some possible quick back story on who they are. Other than that it is generally a very short bit of text to describe the setting for the next series of sex scenes and you occasionally get a choice which doesn't matter really, save for seeing or not seeing a scene here and there.

It's generally nonsensical, little to no buildup, no drama, and often times absurd (sex without someone noticing, 'falling' into sex, etc). Everyone wants to fuck the main character, and he fucks them all, most multiple times.


ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
As hinted at above, the English is sometimes rough here. Not quite Japanese MTL levels all over - you can still follow it all - but it has its faults. It's hard to tell if the main character is trying to be suave and sexy or an asshole at times, the words used might be odd or wrong, that sort of thing. But again, the story hardly matters, so the grammar/translation itself isn't so big of a deal here. At least, it won't likely make or break how you feel about the game overall.


VERDICT:
In the end I rated this game 3/5 (average). It is highly going to depend on what you are looking for. There is a story here, but not an intricate one. It is paced poorly and all rather silly. But that is fine if that is what you are looking for. A light, absurd and silly story with loads of sex.

Obviously if you are trying to get something more believable - or as believable as these sexual VNs tend to get - you won't find it. If you want a non-kinetic novel with branching options and choices, you won't find it. If you want character development, conflict, or any thing of that nature, this isn't it.

But if you just want a quick-to-play fuckfest where the MC hastily bones everyone and has them drooling over his massive prick, then this relatively short game might wet your whistle.

I loved season 1, the scenes were great and the story had potential, it started off meh but got better and I was looking forward to season 2 but now I dont even both downloading the updates for awhile.
I have no idea why they decided to change soo much about the game, I mean the sandbox is just flat out annoying, it wasnt bad in season 1 because it was here and there but now its the entire game. The scenes are now just decent animations with a bunch of buttons to change angle and position, at least ion season one they had ok dialog and would pull ya in alittle more. Now it just feels like I went to PH and searched interactive porn

This is honestly one of the better games I've played. I hope its development continues, I've played a ton of games on this site and this one sticks out as unique. Don't worry about using AI images in the future if it speeds development. I hope you accomplish great things with this game. Let your story flow and ring true!

Lab Rats 2 - Reformulate [v2024.5B]

Welcome to Lab Rats, where every sex scene is the same, and the grind is immense!

Sounds like it would be a shit game, right? Well it isn't. It's actually quite decent. Mainly because of the writing and mechanics.

I would never have dreamed that I would be praising game mechanics in a lewd game, but here I am surprising myself. Someone actually put an enormous amount of thought and effort into the skeleton of this game and it's actually quite clever. I won't bore you to death with the details but if you're a min/maxer and a closet accountant at heart you'll love this.

It's just a damn shame they cranked the grind up to 11. Earning enough money to complete the available content will take weeks of real in-game hours. It's good, sure, but nowhere near THAT good.

And lastly, this game's strenght is also its main weakness. Because of the insane level of modularity and customization for all characters it follows that each sex scene needs to show the current character, with the current body proportions, with the current clothes doing the act. Which means that it's really only feasable to have 1 static position for each sex act. So every character you meet and have sex with will do it exactly the same way. Sure, the dialogue will change but the posing will not. And said posing leaves a lot to be desired. It's low-res, invisible MC, body floating in air. Not the greatest of looks.

The writing however, is way above average. Especially if you're into wincest. And there are a million hot scenarios with almost a hundred unique characters.

So yeah, there you have it. Very strong in some aspects, very weak in others. It's not at all an average game, but that's going to be my score. Because that's what it sums to.

Played as much as I could from version 0.12b

So, while I usually don't like NTR games, I started this one as the premise looked quite interesting, and it could be given a good thought and a polish on the writing skills.

But it fell quite short in nearly everything:

• Renders are okayish. Every character has these bimbo proportions (gigantic breasts, huge ass, fat lips, sharp face features). They are not bad, but there is nearly no variety in the female models. Save for one very unlucky character, which seemed to look a bit more normal, every female in the game looks pretty much the same as per curves it is.
• The dev wanted to create an effect of time travel like "Back to the future", so you start in a present scene, which determines one of the currently 4 available paths there are, just to jump back into the past (indeterminate how far), and then start jumping forward and backward with no notice, making it harder and harder to follow. It would be ok if what you do in the past could change the present/future, but the thing is that you make decisions that ultimately created the present, so in theory, it should not make any difference what you do there, as you had already decided.
• After a whole whirlwind of jumps between past and present, you finally reach a point where you (in theory) can finally catch up with everything... just to be asked again what path you want to take... that pretty much invalidates or makes entirely irrelevant any sort of cohesion on the path you initially had chosen.
• In the beginning, MC looks like a good guy, but he is forced to make decisions and do stuff that in theory makes him feel bad. Just to learn a bit later that he was happy with it, just to then jump back to feeling crappy, and so on. There is no cohesion in the MC character development. He is supposedly to take the reins of his destiny and become an alpha male, just to be bossed around by any female character in the game.
• MC is a dick. In any sense of the expression. He treats those who love him unconditionally as playthings, while he's being cheated by the one he hopes loves him, just to then cheat as well. He is also quite dumb, and even having very clear signs or clues about the devils and what the story is going to be, he just doesn't notice until something really bad has happened.

Ironically, while I usually don't like that genre, the NTR was very well implemented in the game, as a consequence of the MC's decisions and actions, and not as something randomly happening.

I ended up feeling dizzy with all the jumps the story takes. In theory, I chose to stay with Seline and Veronica, just to note that it seems I won't be able to stay with both of them because of some mutually exclusive preconditions, which makes no sense at all if the game has already asked me again what path I want to take.

Why ask me if it will take me wherever it wants anyway?

I'll take a rest of it for a while and will try again to see if I can make any sense out of the available choices in a somewhat consistent path. If I succeed, I will increase my rating accordingly.

Catchy story. Dev put excellent effort into the game. Really enjoy the suspense part of Hangover Cat's game. Sound effects are not as consistent as his previous games. Would be good if that is not the case.

They weren't kidding when they said the remake of in the intro was an upgrade.

When I die and someone inevitably finds my porn, this is the quality I want them to know I was enjoying. Art, dialogue, characters, story all 10/10.

Pros:
*It has additional content even after you made them yours.
*Every character has a customizable positions (except for Nick, hopefully we can get more scenes )
*No plot that needs to be followed.
*Excellent ways to be with them (doesn't feel rushed just to get the scene)

Cons:
*Hopefully we can join the fun(Connor and Martin or Luigi and Isaiah)
*Minor missing images in Isaiah route (Still Playable)
*Some text goes out of the box (still readable depending on background)

Conclusion:
If I could give this a 10 stars I would already done it, Solid game experience, Nice seggs scenes, Excellent world building (game environment and the apps that really works)

I don't normally write reviews this early on but I wanted to for this one because I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. This review is as of 0.8.1

As mentioned above, I normally like to wait until further on in development before thinking about writing reviews, but this one, while still early, had more content than I expected. It spend a solid, full afternoon with a big smile on myself while reading through this.

The writing and story aren't going to win any big awards, but honestly, I like it that way. The title is Cosy Cafe and the whole time, it did feel very warm and wholesome. There is some plot in the background that I enjoyed, and again, while not ground breaking, serves its purpose quite well. It's nothing too complicated or convoluted at the moment, which makes the main part of the game rise to the forefront.

That main part is the girls. It's a harem game and as you might expect, this comes with a few harem tropes that you've come to know. The love interests all get quite cozy with the MC very quickly. That being said, with the pace of the game, it doesn't feel jarring.

Some games like to put a lot of fluff in between content with love interests where endless words, plot, lore and other such things get crammed down your throat. For some games, this works and I even like a few slow burn games. Some of which I nearly skip the sex scenes because it's the story that keeps me there. This one is not one of those games. I like the story and it serves as an anchor for the rest of the game, but every tangent almost always wraps up quickly and brings you right back to developing your relationship with the girls.

The girls themselves are adorable. They each have their own personalities, and while not original archetypes, still somehow manage to tug at your heartstrings. The dynamic between the MC and LIs is polygamous in nature rather than polyamorous. In layman's terms, this basically means that the MC is the only male that matters (No NTR). He even says up front to every girl that joins the harem that he gets to sleep around and they don't. In reality this would obviously be quite toxic but you're not playing this game for its realism, and naturally none of the girls want anyone else anyway.

There is an emphasis towards D/s power exchange dynamics between the MC and the LIs. It's not over the top kinky bondage supreme, but it works and I prefer it that way. It might not be the most realistic portrayal but for a game like this I don't think a more realistic approach would work anyway. Definitely a good game though if you like being called Master a lot and giving out a lot of spankings.

And as a few final notes. The music is cute and cozy like the rest of the game, though there isn't a very large soundtrack. This isn't a big deal though and I never found myself wanting.

The renders however were a highlight for me. There are some aspects of the renders that look odd, like some 2d textures on like the elbows or something, but everything else is quite nice. I stopped a couple times to admire the skin in a couple scenes where I could see the goosebumps on one of the girls' breasts, and again around the pubic area. I've seen some really good looking renders of girls in a lot of games here, and even the best of them have the most flawlessly smooth skin where there would normally be pubic hair. The girls in this one (so far) are all shaved but you can even see the bumps of the follicles where the hair would normally be. It's a small detail that stood out to me that I didn't know I would appreciate until I saw it. Maybe that's a small or weird thing but it made it feel more real to me. The models may not be Eternum quality or whatever but they have a uniqueness to them that makes them stand apart.

Anyways, I've rambled on enough now. I am very much looking forward to future updates for this one and recommend giving it a try.

The sex content is good but there is not much interaction with Amu-chan other than sex. You can play rock paper scissors, small talk. Affection max cg. That's it. You don't actually feel like you got closer to her, just the affection number went up. First time ask her to have sex and she just be like ok let's do it WTF!?

Also don't see why they make you earn money playing a clicker game, lame

A fun 4 hours game, with decent porn... Diluted in a nightmarish grindfest.
I don't think I could put this in better words... What a waste of potential.

The minigames are interesting at first, but after a while, they become unnecessarily repetitive without the possibility to skip to the good parts.
The characters are enjoyable but that's it...

The animation and voice acting is so terrible I would not recommend downloading this. You select an action and the animation loops, but they are like half a second long. and there is no development at all. just started the game and the girl is already moaning like crazy. The music is pretty shit too.

Vaygren - Lustful Temptation [Ep. 1]

This concept is fantastic and the production quality is through the roof! But a monkey took a dump in it. More on that later.

This is pretty much a fully animated interactive hentai! Everything is animated! Let that sink in. Every. Single. Scene. Wow!
This kind of project is crazy ambitious!

And it's voice acted! Holy shitballs Batman! This is the future of lewd interactive storytelling right here, mark my fucking words!

Though... maybe not exactly this project in this constellation. As a concept this really REALLY works but the problem is, the writing here stinks. As in: It's not on par with the rest of the production quality at all.

Coding: Expert. 10/10.
Animation: Expert. 10/10.
Cinematography and visual presentation: Expert. 10/10.
Voice acting. Good. 8/10. (It's not their fault they don't get full marks though. You can only do so much with cringy lines that don't make much sense.)
Writing: Intern with no experience trying it out for the first time. 2/10.

It's just not right to have 2/10 writing and fucking STELLAR everything else. It actually makes me kind of mad to see because it's obvious a shitton of effort went into this.

I need to rant about this:

The sex scene dialogue and narration is extremely cringy and full of unnecessary inner monologue. Half of the text in general is unnecessary inner monologue.
The choices are just scene selectors, nothing is explained and the pacing is off.
Each character in the team is introduced in individual scenes as if they were on a job interview. After they were hired. Does that make sense to you? Does it make you excited? Yeah me neither.
Whoever wrote this has absolutely no clue how to write a good script for a visual medium, or tell a story in general in an interesting way.
I sadly don't foresee this being the Next Big Thing if the current writer will be staying for the rest of it.
If this production team (I'm assuming it's a team because I don't think a mere mortal can do this kind of thing solo) can get a hold of an actual script writer then this would be at the very top of F95 and everywhere within a year. But that's a big IF. I know how these things go.
I'm just hoping to God the current writer of this isn't some kind of exec who can't be voted out. Because I see the potential here, I really do. It's the future!

Please excuse my metaphor here but this project is like a flawless 5 star Michelin meal that somebody let a monkey dump a big fat turd on.
There's a brilliant vision behind it and it's sublimely executed, but a very obvious weak link fucked it all up. Badly. It could have been GREAT but now it's just meh. It's so very close to perfection yet still so far away.

If you pick around the turd you can probably get a decent experience out of it. Just don't breathe through your nose and try not to think too much.

And definitely do check it out to see the proof of concept. It's truly formidable. The animations and the expert-level use of the Ren'Py engine really rocks my world.
