It's sad enough that Scolexxx decided to abandon Powerless, but now even the server is gone? What a loss

i don't claim to know what happen to him but here is what does happen before the shut down more or less
- scol isn't that much active in discord
- scol only accepted donation or paid through BITCOIN and you could see it in this game even
- he didn't want nothing to do with criticism good or bad, the guy is too stubborn and shady af to accept payment only in bitcoin
- he promised to work on this game till it finished but somehow try to learn unity to port this game to but it turns out to be a lie since there are no proof of anything at all and people while they try to be positive and sided with him like my previous comment in this site, he just gone and never be seen again till this day.
wasted potential to say the least.

i don't claim to know what happen to him but here is what does happen before the shut down more or less
- scol isn't that much active in discord
- scol only accepted donation or paid through BITCOIN and you could see it in this game even

He didn't disappear. Once in a while (a couple times a month) he appeared in Discord with new art or animations.

He wrote quite a lot about the transfer of Powerless to Unity at first, but then he said that the process was very slow and there was a problem with the transfer of animations. They were vector and made using Flash and only for it, and in Unity, if I remember correctly, he didn't find a tool that will read them. He said he would not redraw everything from scratch, as this is not his main activity, and abandoned the whole project, greatly apologizing to everyone.

The most interesting thing is that somewhere in June/July he announced that he would make a micro-project with an elf and a goblin. Basically a couple of scenes with the ability to change the appearance of the participants. But he still deleted the server...

On the other hand, Twitter (X) is still alive and even the last post was September 2. Apparently he didn't see any reason to keep the discord going, considering how infrequent and questionable people were communicating there.

Thanks for that update, even if I follow his progress from well known sources (most here didn't).
Not to deep into the Dev pit, but like you say, it's not that simple to start almost from scratch. Afaik, it might be easier to transfer from rpgm to renpy as from flash to unity.
Still a question I got in my mind: when we still are able to play flash Games, even if not supported anymore, is it still possible to work with flash? In theory, it's might be possible, even without further Updates (from Adobe).

mostly old news because i didn't follow him since discord was deleted, and yes he does have some update in (X) but that's all he provided, i wouldn't say he is gone for good but rather not as active like before, with all the talk however i wish him the best regardless.

It's his previous game project, PET (abandonned too sadly). Check the previous page, someone uploaded all the older scolexxx's work !

ive been playing on/off for sometime and cant figure out how/what triggers being able to go into a town and talk to people at the docks and all that?ive only been able to do it 2 times (not sure what i did)
i have a crap ton of solders or what ever and yet says my kingdom is powerless?
also i apperently lost a battle (unaware i was even ever in one but what ever)
also in my screenie says 46% at one point it was 49% what causes it to drop how to raise it back up?

Afaik, it´s only possible to go to the docks in the castle. There you need to go right-hand side to see them.
There should also be a cheat-mode in there, where you can add some gold and stuff. I think this was depending on which kind of gameplay you choose in the beginning.
I´m really into those animations and it´s more than sad, that he stops working (at all?).

im trying to understand...i dunno how to go to a castle,etc the 2 i been in was kinda random buying properties and then had a kid to seal the deal (2x this happened ) some how i was in the city
no idea what or where to click ...IF your talking about top right corner for options cant do shit but save or clear games (i assumed this is where ya meant? (maybe im wrong?)

I had to download this game quick and also a flashplayer to open it. Flash Launcher for the ones who also need it.
First, start a new game and choose Dev-Mode (if you like everything unlocked)
Then skip the Tutorial and end your move in the lower right side of the map.
After taht, click on your castle and 3 points will appear, pick the left one to visit the castle, then go right side to the docks and talk with the guys there.
I hope this answers your question. If not, then I mislead your comment. ^^

we get dev mode but why no cheats AND if there is cheats then how to access them all?
what am i missing if we got cheats?

I mean, you got a ton of Money which is enough to play this game (played it to the end of the build months ago). Otherwise, there is also Cheat engine, but you have to figure out which values and stuff. Afaik, some engines need a multiplikator for the value, Hex and stuff, in order to find the right ones. But yeah, at least WE have a dev-mode.

Basically because Adobe stops support for flash. Then He was shipping to unity and lost his fun, I guess. But on his discord (and also this tread)) there was some progress.
