Downlodaing and actually installing are two different things. I don't mind downloading an exe I'm just gonna delete anyways. Qiwi actually requires me to actually install it. I ain't installing your fucking ad/spy ware.
you dont't need to download any shit. use a fucking ad blocker. what is the problem?

My go to file host is WorkUpload. I use it, myself.

You haven't said if you use an adblocker or not. From what it sounds like an adblocker may solve your problem. If you are so gungho about what you want and that qiwi fits your purpose - you know the answer to your problem --- get an adblocker.

EDIT: Unless a single game is > 5GB - the restriction you mention shouldn't be a problem. Maybe being more selective on what/how much you download each day could be another alternative.
workupload throttles. And you're right most days it's fine. But there's the days when I get 10+ updates on games I really like and combined they are way more than 10 mb. And yes I do have games on this site that are more than that all by themselves. I ain't paying for 40 mb/s in order to get 1 at most.

No download link should require an adblocker to avoid ad/spy ware. That's not an okay link.
You know the problem. You know the solutions - you refuse them all and instead are continuing to kick and cry.

You've lost all empathy with me. Now you're back in the "privileged child throwing a tantrum in the middle of the store because mommy won't get you yet another toy" group.

You have a few choices
  • Use different links
  • Use an adblocker
  • Be more selective
Choose one or more.

I've already told you I have reported the problem in the appropriate thread. If they get rid of qiwi - then you will have to choose Mega, MixDrop, WorkUpload or whatever. Then you'll be forced to choose.

Or, and here's a crazy a fucking idea, we could've just stuck with gofile instead of replacing it with qiwi which is less functional. That doesn't seem like a me problem but problem with everyone who decided to replace gofile links with qiwi. What exactly was the problem with gofile?

I'm on the basic internet service in my area and get 100Mb/s - feelsgoodman to be first world urban area. I could choose to get faster d/l - but I have different priorities than some.

How about you go whine/ask in the appropriate thread that I already linked previously? Here's the latest: 1,129 (about 9 days ago) - it could change if GoFile gets their shit together. But until then, you'll have to "suffer" with the rest of us who seem to be satisfied, overall, with the different offerings.

you're told there's a problem with gofile which is why it's not used, yet you begin by saying they could've just stuck with gofile... THEN you ask what the problem is? why do you say they should stick with it if you don't even know what the problem is? this is a you problem in more ways than one.

Qiwi is unapproved again. To a comment from you from earlier, we didn't switch out Gofile for Qiwi, but we added Qiwi after it was approved because it is a fast hoster with unlimited upload and 100GB file size, well that it forces people to DL stuff is a big no no.

You were linked by Count Morado already the reason for Gofile not being used most of the time atm.
Just to give you a number I uploaded around 150 GB to QIWI since it was approved.

Now the reason to not use Gofile atm is, my Upload speed to it is horrific atm (max 6 MB/s, but most of the time at 2 MB/s, this is on a 1000/1000 MBit/s connection). That's not really viable for what amount of data I upload. IF THE UPLOAD EVEN FINISHES (or isn't corrupted).

Yeah until Gofile doesn't fix its servers, it won't be often a hoster. For games over 2 GB, it probably will be Mega, Mixdrop, Pixel, Uploadheaven maybe FilesFM for the first 7 days. And on files <2GB it will be Workupload instead of FilesFM. If my Proxies hold.

That's weird. I mean I download from gofile on a guest account at 30-40 mb/s.

Then you better upload to gofile with your slow ass speeds. After all, we can't have Jimayo wasting his massive download speeds that he paid a lot of money for. That would be a very big problem for F95zone.

I know this isn't directly related to the OP's "problem", but since we're talking about qiwi... I've had issues with resuming downloads (in JDownoader2) from there. Large downloads often timeout (or something) randomly and when the connection is reestablished the dl starts from scratch. I've seen a few others report the same elsewhere. It may be due to VPN (I use ProtonVPN Free) but no one else provided any details. I don't have issues with resume on any other hosters FWIW.
