If that doesn't work then just generally explore around too should work if your picking up and fighting most things though also checking in with your base is good to do too as you do need to go back there a few times for story progression, especially for SPACE.
This is not a quick game to complete though as it's in a way a metroidvania with finding specific areas and people to fight with sometimes items as well.

There's a reason why the saying "gamers don't look up" exists in my mind...as for some reason we can be blind to exits above while able to always see the above ones. But you probably got plenty of extra materials to making upgrades and gain some cash through.

I think that's just humans. I remember reading that in an Animorphs book.

dw9000 Here's what I have from a few years back, I think it's valid up till updates for the game slowed down to be months to a year apart, it should guide you to make your own fairly complete save and the save included is also fairly complete, I would say it's maybe 80-90% complete now due to extra zones and an item or two I believe being added. But the main story I believe is completed and most weapons are brought.

I will warn that although there's a way to replay events you do miss out on dialogue and such so the save is only useful if you want to just play the game in an sandbox kinda mode and not to skip through the storyline quicker. (To do that you are much better off looking at the guide and grinding from what you understand of it)

Anyone know what new content was added via 1.31? Rat-attack I see six entities missing at the end of the gallery now, have you had any luck figuring them out?

echonioni Uhhhh no idea as well....translating the game doesn't give that insight and a content update results in needing to redo the entire translation possibly. I suggest exploring the game for yourself to attempt to find them out yourself though the save I posted was fairly complete until updates slowed down as said before so you should find it somewhat easy to find the missing ones as a result. Game is massive though.

I remember playing this game with my meager Japanese. Absolute hell of a game, had to read a poorly translated guide and screen capture/write into google translate to figure out where to go and what to do. Would be worth translating all of this guy's games.

I would love a translation of this. Also, does anyone know if the dev is working on a new game?

It's in the works. Just very slow.
I got involved with another separate project and got sidelined by irl work.
Starting to get back on track atm.
I actually managed to get all the non-HQ areas translated, but the HQ area and that general spot are some of the more text dense spots.

Also yes the dev is working on another game. They were working on two but set the more bi-focused one on the backburner as they were having difficulties doing art for both games.

So just going to post this as a teaser:

Nearly all the stages have been mtl'd! There is some work that still needs to be done before it's close to release, but figured I'd post about this since I figure it's noteworthy enough to!

For a more comprehensive idea of what needs to be done:
-2 H scenes I was holding out on doing. (Personal reasons.)
-Some minor work in other areas that I was unsure of at a different time.

-Finishing the game's common events (Represents an unknown amount of work. Will be the longest delay. Lots of stuff there.)
-The Pioneer Army Archives
-Item/weapon/area name updates

-General housekeeping
-Final playtest
-Addressing any issues from playtest

If you'd like to track the work on a more granular detail, there's a , if you're inclined.

Now, to temper things, don't expect this to come out in the next month or anything similar.
Several of these items represent a lot of work. Namely the common events, and playtesting. I also have to get back in touch with Ratattack who started everything, and that will influence the common event stuff. Which can further extend the timeframe, as well.
Also, this is built off the second newest version of the game.
The dev put out ANOTHER release full of largely minor changes for clarity, but I'm just not going to bother. God knows where those changes were, and it'd be too much work to figure out lol.

I look forward to see ya'll down the line!

I'm going to post another teaser, since I just figured out a fix to our long arch-enemy, the text overlap.
(For the shop areas, status management, archives, and equipment screens only. Basically, any area with this blue screen will more than likely not have any text overlap on release.)

(Can you tell I'm a little too excited over this? Hahaha)

Obviously it still has a bit more tweaking to do to be super clean and

but hey, progress is progres!

(It also means I've given myself more work, and it'll delay the release even further, but I think we can agree it's at least for a worthwhile cause.)
(And also good lord it took me a few good hours of just slamming my head against this issue to solve it.)

As TragicSolitude said the game is nearly translated and while it's been done using stuff like google translate or DeepL, due to the stuff put out and how the process is I'd personally say that it's a half Machine Human Translation since you also need to hunt for the text to translate it.....and so I believe that the title of Super Citizen goes to TragicSolitude since they have put in a tremendous amount of work after the hard reset caused by the game's updates after I did my 0.2 release of the game. (man I hated when the update released and caused that)

For when this could be expected to be finished.....well lets just say I started translating it back in 2019 and only got a small bit done in 6 months...so release date if you want....2026 but could be sooner. The project has only gotten as far as it has since it's "reboot" from June 2023 as a result of it not being just one person working on this (completely) and yet it's not done because of how much game text is and the game engine is to change the text in it.

PS as I said prior I've not had much free time to work on this several times despite wanting to and I do want to get my bit done of that common stuff that I said I would do. (slightly less than 500 entities and little to no coherency between them)
