if you want to complete the scene, then yes, you have to sit through it since there is no option to skip it. very straight forward concept.

I’m gonna introduce you to a very abstract concept here, and I’ll try to make it very simple so it doesn’t go over your head…
If the 2 male characters invite you to watch them fuck in their house, and you’re not into watching gay sex, you can do this thing where you don’t enter their house. The game doesn’t force you at all. And if you do enter somehow by accident, you can just quit the game; alt+f4 works instantly if you need it that fast. Hope you understand.

you're just being petulant for no good reason. a simple in-game warning of upcoming content and the subsequent option to skip referenced content is a standard and appreciated feature in many h-games in relation to all sorts of fetish and sexual preferences.
yes, you can be cued by the appearance of undesirable content on your screen to promptly avoid further exposure to it by "alt-f4"ing or otherwise exiting the software, or you could even do research on the available scenes before you play the game, as well as their relevant context in order to avoid scenes you wouldn't like to see. Point is, it's a convenient option with all kinds of precedent for devs implementing systems that 1. notify players of upcoming potentially undesirable content and 2. give the player the option to skip referenced content. This is simply a boon of convenience and pleasure for the player, however their preferences may lie.
there's no need for you to be so rude to the person who initially suggested as such, nor to me for that matter, especially considering such a benign and normal request

to me, it's the backlash against simply asking for the option to filter it that's crazy... not that I particularly care either way, more a matter of principle...

I was being rude because they were being a shitty troll, saying because a scene having gay sex and female masturbation only appeals to bi people, and when someone calls them out on it they call them “cisphobic” (bullshit), and that they’re forced to watch it (no they’re not, there’s not even a completion % for it or something).
If they had just said “I’m not a fan of gay stuff, can we get a toggle/skip/exit scene just in case I start it by mistake?” We’d probably never be talking. Say stupid things, get stupid responses.
