Hey everyone — just a quick update.

Unfortunately, I have to let you know that the very, very alpha public playtest build will be delayed. I originally planned to release a download next week, but due to some personal matters, I’ll need to push it back by around one month.

I’m still actively working on the game, and once it’s out — even in this rough early state — I’d really love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

So about August right?
Actually, I've decided to go ahead and post the game today!


There will probably still be some bugs, and you might notice them as you play — but I’d really love to get your feedback and hear your thoughts on the current state of the game. Knowing what you enjoy (or what’s not quite working) will really help shape future updates.

Is there a specific Place where we should report Bugs? Like a Discord or something?
I don't have a Discord specifically for the game (at least not yet), so I'd be really grateful if you could report any bugs right here in this post. Thanks a lot for helping out!

-i found that the beast hunting to the river snake mission of the first town doesnt star th battle once we start the mission

-the wine exp event dont work

-in the bets with juniors, the thigh be doesnt have aftermath, in the panties bet only appear the text when we still have the panties even if the picture is the one without panties,
i think that doesnt appear pictures of the aftermath if we are raise the stakes, oh, and these event doesnt raise corruption

- the patrol sect mission doesnt allow us to figth the beast.
-the skills that work are the one in the beggining, the other one learn in the fair sect doesn work, yet to prove demonic sect.

-the max corruption i found is 51, thanks to the tavern event that corruption raise, the only event i found that raises corruption.

i am very excited to see how avance the game, it look very good :D

- At the relative beginning of the game the encounter with the remnant immortal he repeats himself.

- Oftentimes if you fight the damage from the enemies counts as Number NaN and that gliches your health bar. It happened the first time at the tournament in jade creek town

- The Offer Food event doesnt show text.

- The missions from jade creek Town dont give spirit points but rather sect contribution.

- The fight to join the sect doesnt appear to be working at the good sect as it says "player turn doesnt exist" at least after you already tried and failed this fight at the evil sect.

- (I dont know if this just isnt in the game jet but) You cant interact with northern phoenix city.

- Some Bounties cant be completet because their mission stars spawn at the top of the map, which is inaccessible.

- Items in the inventory cant be used (in case of the wine). But that could be intended.

- The snake and Egg event doesnt have Text.

- Time doesnt appear to pass if you do sect mission so you could just grind these to no end.

- The ring the Bell event also doesnt have any text.

- Actualy almost all events are missing their text.

- Heaven splitting palm seems to be bugged beacause you do less damage than with a normal attack and sometimes you even do negative damage

-The Bloodfang Tiger doesnt have a Picture.(Maybe just not in the game yet)

-Market doesnt show anything (maybe not implemented yet)

-In the workshop the ingredients get written without spaces like this "temperedbonefragment"

-The sect patrol event where you get flirtet with after you click "lose control"(could be a bit more highlightet btw.) it just says "normal" and you get stuck.

-After a Failed breakthrough event your exp reaches the negatives(Maybe intended?)

-The disciple training help has no event if the bet is touching your thigh.



Thats all the bugs i can remember right now but i have a few suggestions(maybe these are already planned if so just ignore that)



- maybe make the "Exit" option in the sects be at the bottom of the list

- The sect missons are kind of clunky right now because you have to
- take the mission
- exit the mission hall
- exit the sect
- and then and only then can you take on these missions

- maybe if possible make it so that the missions appear as options in the sect screen itself. At least if they are activities within the sect.

- Maybe for Alchemy you can have an Alchemy Hall in the sect that you have to visit for that mission but where you can also craft Pills for Cultivation.(Maybe change the potions to Pills?)

-If possible maybe make the "status" "skills" "inventory" "relations" and "breakthrough" tabs be under the caracter picture on the left side




The are just some suggestions of things that jumped out at me.



I do have some questions about some things

- How much reputation do you need to not be considered an initiate anymore?

- How do you get the Blood hardening Herb?

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback — it’s super helpful! Here’s a response to everything you pointed out:


  1. I’ll check out the issue with the Remnant Immortal repeating himself.
  2. The NaN damage bug is likely due to a miscalculation in enemy attacks or special abilities. I’ll look into it.
  3. Yep… I totally forgot to write the text for the Offer Food event. Will fix that.
  4. That bug with the sect entrance fight sounds unexpected. I’ll try to reproduce it and patch it soon.
  5. I’ll look into the issue with that fight logic too.
  6. You’re right - Northern Phoenix City isn’t finished yet, so it’s currently inaccessible.
  7. I’m aware of the bounty star spawn issue and am working on a fix.
  8. That’s intentional. Items listed under Inventory aren’t consumables - they’re more like ingredients for alchemy.
  9. Time doesn’t pass during most sect missions on purpose. Time is based on turns (24 turns = 1 year), and I didn’t want players aging drastically after a few missions. Traveling to mission locations does take turns, though.
  10. Thanks for pointing it out! There’s likely a problem with how event types are tracked, which is affecting text display. For now, most of these events are short, but I plan to expand them with more detailed text.
  11. Heaven Splitting Palm probably has a bug in the damage formula - I’ll double-check.
  12. The Bloodfang Tiger image is likely misnamed. The image should be in the files, just not loading correctly.
  13. The market isn’t implemented yet - that’s coming in a future update.
  14. Negative EXP after a failed breakthrough is intended for now. Originally, I considered lowering your cultivation stage, but that felt too punishing. I’ll likely rework this system later.
  15. I’ll look into the patrol event where you get stuck after “lose control.” Sounds like a bug with missing text or event progression.

I like the idea of switching potions to pills -fits the theme better.


Regarding UI: I tried placing the tabs (status, skills, inventory, etc.) on the left side under the character portrait, but it looked a bit overwhelming due to space. For now, they’ll probably stay on the map screen.


Regarding ranks:


Here are the soft requirements for rising through sect ranks:


  • Outer Disciple ➝ Inner Disciple:
    ContributionPoints >= 50, SectReputation >= 10, SectFavor >= 5
  • Inner ➝ Core Disciple:
    ContributionPoints >= 150, SectReputation >= 30, SectFavor >= 15
  • Core ➝ True Disciple:
    ContributionPoints >= 300, SectReputation >= 60, SectFavor >= 30
  • True Disciple ➝ Higher:
    ContributionPoints >= 600, SectReputation >= 100, SectFavor >= 50

You can rank up at the Council Hall once you meet the conditions.

I honestly like the theme a lot and I'm eager to see how the game develops.

For my part, I've encountered most of the aforementioned issues, so I won't repeat them and will go straight to my suggestions and problems.

Thanks for the reply i hope i didn't over do it. I realy liked what i saw and there is a lot of potential especially because i actualy like the ai art you used it doesnt look as bad as ai art usually looks so props to you.


It sounds like there is another bug maybe for the ranking up because i have 200+ reputation and contribution points but i cant rank up.
(Maybe because of Favor but i dont know where to check how much i have if any.)

1. I didn't thought about making some kind of 'introduction to movement controls' I will add information about this.
2. Same as above.
3. Actually I had the same problem with fight, I've been thinking how to improve whole experience. Main problem is with power scaling. When I was making stats, I tried to balance them but I failed anyways >.<. I will try to find better solution for this.
4. Actually good idea, I will add it.
5. Probably just minor spelling error, I will fix it asap.
6. It's actually planned. Some quests will be the same no matter what sect you're part of - there will be always wicked guy even in righteous sect or kind guy in demonic sect. Player nature, be it demonic or righteous will have impact on game. There are planned 'mortal villages', who may start revering you as kind deity or wicked demons - depending on your interaction with them.

Hey bro, when you are coming back to the lost empire? It would be a shame to waste all its potential. Besides, the foundation is already there, it would just be a matter of adding content, dont you think?
