The Story
After pharaoh Menkaure passes away under strange circumstances, Vizier Khaemwaset is ready to ascend and claim the throne as the new pharaoh. However, the pharaoh's staff seems to reject him and has someone else in mind: Ankhnes, Menkaure's wife.

To honor her husband and other great pharoahs, and to unite the people of Kemet, she decides to build the Great Pyramid. The goal is to please the gods, and unite the people of Kemet. But can she do it while civil unrests rises? How many people will accept a female pharaoh?

Vizier Khaemwaset still lurks in the shadows, waiting for a chance to claim power. And what is your role in this all?

Characters

Main Character
You were there on the night Vizier Khaemwaset's blade found Menkaure, and ended his life. Nothing you could do about it, because he wields the power of Dark Heka and completely immobilized you. As Menkaure collapsed, Khaemwaset was ready to end you. However, with his last breath, Menkaure cast a powerful Heka spell, protecting you against Khaemwaset.

You swore to kill the Vizier, and let the mighty Nile take his bloodied corpse. Menkaure made you make one promise: protect his wife Ankhnes with your life.

Menkaure
Menkaure and you grew up together in Tebe, becoming best friends, sharing a very strong bond. You called each other "brother". Due to his kind and patient character, he was loved by many. He had the unique ability to dissolve conflict, and always took his time to help people where he could. And you were like his shadow, helping him, and you did not mind. Even when Menkaure happened to become the next pharaoh, he took you with him and appointed you as a member of the Royal Guard.

He ended up marrying Ankhnes. Where it's common for a pharaoh to have a harem, all Menkaure needed was her. You supported both. He happened to be fluent with Heka, casting a strong protective spell which managed to shield you during Khaemwaset's attempt to kill you.

Vizier Khaemwaset
Being an ambitious and conservative man, he craves nothing more than power and wealth. He is able to summon mighty Dark Heka, after working together with the god of chaos. He came away with killing Menkaure, almost killed you, and is now plotting a scheme to get rid of Ankhnes. However, he plans to do this in a more sly way. You keep an eye on him, so that Ankhnes will be safe. But Vizier Khaemwaset knows how to rile up people, weaponizing their grief and sorrow, trying to channel it into hate.

Ankhnes
The new pharaoh, and previously Menkaure's wife. She surprized everyone when the staff picked her to be the new pharaoh. Her gentle and kind personality quickly switched to distant, since she trusts no one. However, she does have a weak spot for the main character, and he is now her most trusted person. In her eyes, she has to earn the people's respect, and she will do so by building the Great Pyramid in honor of previous pharaohs. She still needs to figure out a way to do so...Perhaps the main character can help her?

While you're at it, perhaps this is a chance to become more than her guard?

(This will probably be the main reason you will play the game, to get some sexy time with Ankhnes)

Build the Great Pyramid
You found a way to help Ankhnes build the Great Pyramid. However, you must develop that skill. This is the main way to progress the story, see it as your main quest.

Multiple endings
I have planned three endings. The first thing I will do is write my own preferred ending and make sure this path is functional, and then add the other two endings.

4K RESOLUTION VERSION WILL BE SUPPORTED, SINCE I WANT TO SEE HER TITS IN THAT GLORIOUS RESOLUTION ON MY OWN SCREEN, AND I FUCKING PAID FOR DAMN GOOD ARTWORK! MIGHT AS WELL ENJOY IT, CAN'T I?

My name is Kodacho! This is my first game, and I always found ancient Egypt fascinating. The main purpose of creating this game is to make something people will enjoy, but also to hone my skills, mostly with programming. I liked your idea, it's very original, and it has potential.
This sketch is really nice to see.

However, at first glance, I think your project is quite ambitious for a first game. This is from the point of view of a game dev who is also making his first game. But this has more to do with my limitations than yours!

If you'll allow me, I'd like to give you a tip: use and abuse AI, they will speed up development a lot, they will help you refine and improve your ideas, they will help with revisions, etc...

Thank you very much for your comment! As you are a game developer yourself, may I ask which part you find ambitious? Just to have realistic expectations myself. The art is done by an artist, and I commission a writer to write the dialogue. This give me the opportunity to focus on the code.

I have been working on RenPy for about 6 months, and I am sure that I still have much to learn. However, this is why I make this game, to learn along the way.

If each 6 areaa is going to have its own unique items, plus shops and explorable spots, that sounds like a lot of work — especially from a solo dev perspective. But since you mentioned it’s a 3-person team and you’ll be focusing solely on programming, then I take back what I said. With the workload split, it becomes a doable project.


In my case, I’m doing everything myself — assets, writing, and coding.
I have 5 interactive BGs for navigation, and getting them all to work properly took a ton of effort.
I also have 2 minigames done, and honestly, getting the first one to function properly in Ren’Py was a nightmare. It took me a while to really get the hang of how screens, actions, and UI flow work.
My biggest gap is in creating assets nowadays.

I am working on the code, and one of the things I want to add from the start is a gallery system. As you progress through the story, you will unlock hentai scenes. And of course you want to see it again! So I plan to create a simple system where you can show any unlocked image. This means that in a sequence of images, you can select the one you want most.

I also want to make it mobile friendly, since I hope you will play this game under your blankets, with your penis in your hand (you have to clean up yourself) while lying down.

I will keep you updated as I implement this feature! Now it's time to prepare for a brand new week, filled with new possibilities (possibilititties, haha)!

The gallery system is done! I will polish it in a future version, but it's possible to access the gallery and go back to the unlocked scene. You will "replay" the scene, including the dialogue. I am thinking about adding a feature where you can select the scene and any sequence image you want, this falls under "polishing". I also worked on a battle system, it's very basic, but I will add more features as I go.

There are around 9 scenes right now, but I am thinking about adding more. During battles, you can summon a companion. I am thinking about adding the option to summon a female warrior, who will let monsters touch and (perhaps) fuck her during battles. Not only will this unlock scenes, but it drive away attention to you, time you can use to heal yourself (or kill the enemy). This is a work in progress, and might be changed during the battle.

And of course, I want to add more scenes with our beautiful pharaoh, since she is hot, you probably want much more than 9 scenes! Or don't you want to see these titties?
