We are AdelphiaGaming. Young Padawans in the adult games sphere with a hardon to give other people hardons. While mostly solo, I do have a friend helping whenever she can. We're technically a team, but it's mostly me working. We also aren't going to make fancy promises or claim to offer AAA visuals and writing with the "next-gen" horseshit you see in these types of 'develolpment threads'). Nothing being presented as new or innovative despite it being the status-quo for most AVNs.
I'm coming into the space with a few years of experience in Blender. Animations are still mostly new to me, but something I hope to learn in the process of making TSU. My best work is lighting. People, products, etc. Hopefully something I can put to good use here. We just want to make a fun game that doesn't really take itself too seriously. There's plenty of space for that in these games, but I feel like the heavy moments have more impact when the rest of the game is above the clouds. That's not to say TSU won't get a little philosophical or nihilistic, but it'll mostly be fun, crude, and curse you with a few bad references to shitty early-2000's comedy movies.
The story begins with two young adults returning home from their respective universities for winter break to celebrate Christmas. This is where we're introduced to Lyra and Lucas (names may be subject to change prior to release, however both are nameable characters.). Growing up, they hated one another's guts. Constant bickering, childish insults, fighting. Enough to make any parent's head explode. 20 years, a high school graduation, and an upcoming college graduation later? Very little has changed.
Upon returning to the ever-shrinking Ironlake, the bickering continues as if it never stopped. However, a text from an old (slave) friend of Lucas and a not-so-subtle shove from Lyra's mother sends them to a small get-together of old friends. Many of whom Lucas and Lyra shared through high school, despite all of them having found Lucas in their pants. Our protagonist, Lyra? Well, she's not so active - and Lucas isn't afraid to let her know it. Lesbian, prude, nun. If there was an insult for it, Lucas had found it.
That all changes at their small get-together. Where a drunken game of truth or dare leads to some Ouija board shenanigans. Resulting in the summoning of an eons old, foul-mouthed, and eternally bored succubus looking for some entertainment after being locked away hundreds of years ago. A bad nightmare, a six-pack beauty queen, and a sunrise later, our protagonist finds herself in the body of Lucas. With a massive schlong and a white-haired demon sitting at the edge of his bed. . .her bed?
As you take control of Lucas and his life, Will you find a way back to your own body, or will you even want to? Do you end up falling for one of the cast of characters around him - or do you become worse than he ever was?

It's your standard AVN. No minigames or QTEs. But the choices will be fairly heavy. One choice can change an entire ending or lead to a game over later in the game. To win an LI over in the game, you'll need to collect love or corruption from them. This system is still a WIP and subject to change.
The visual part of this system will be updated in the UI section below, which is blank for now as we're still just starting the render creation process for the game.
N/A for now. Will have some updates soon.

We'll also use this section for some of the more technical details of The Switch-Up, as well.
The Switch-Up is, as mentioned, a Blender-rendered AVN featuring Daz models. Much of the environmental assets are Blender-made either by other artists or kitbashed from other assets. This is for the sake of speed as having to model every single thing would take much too long. This allows us to model what we need to model while focusing on stuff like animations and creating the perfect atmosphere.
- TSU is rendered at 3860x1600, which is a 21:9 ratio, and will likely be downscaled to offer the game at a decent file size. This will only be the case if Lossless WebP doesn't offer the size we like at the quality we like. We will, however, offer a 4K patch + a possible Lossless/HQ audio DLC/downloadable for those who want it.
- Nearly all important models are Genesis 9 with fine-tuned skins + normals from the highest quality available models from both Daz and Texturing XYZ.
- A lot of games supposedly offer "handcrafted models", which is just a fancy way of saying they used sliders to make the models unique. Our models are not handcrafted, but there was a lot of love put into them. (Especially Celia. Mommy can suffocate me with her thighs. <3 - naoko)
- Our goal isn't to create the most cutting-edge visual novel out there, or the best ever. We just want to create a fun, immersive game with high quality work.
- We're in contact with some decently well-known musicians/artists to see if we can get something worked out soundtrack-wise. No guarantees, but hopefully we'll have something better than AI for the important scenes. Since we can't really afford the good music services right now.

Lyra and Lucas grew up in Ironlake together. Mostly by way of being neighbors with parents who were also lifelong friends. Lyra has always had a strong opinion about men, and rarely were they ever good. As a result, she never got too much experience with guys. Lucas was the first to let her know this whenever he could. Carpet muncher, nun, prude. If there was an insult for it, she'd heard it.

Celia is a local tattoo and fine artist (more like the only one). She mostly speaks in obscure song references while doing anything she can to get the attention of Lucas.

Magdalena, better known as Maddy, was the girl that'd never quite gotten over Lucas. Their relationship moved quick and developed even faster. But just as quick as that flame started, it was blown out. Brutally. No answers. No closure. No anything.

Ren was the one who'd kept Lucas on a leash for the longest before he eventually cheated on her. The power couple, the talk of the small town where everyone knew everyone. Hot people doing hot people things. They were going to go to the same college and she was going to follow Lucas to the major leagues. Oh, how quickly your average house party can change things.

Ryan is new to Ironlake and not much is really known about her. She works as a teacher at the local elementary school, and beyond some odd rumors, that's all people really know about the somewhat introverted redhead.

Abrahel is an eons old Succubi. Foul-mouthed, easily bored, and chaos-loving. Somehow sealed away by a certain Roman emperor she drove to insanity, the bored, lust-fed demon is going to do her best to throw all of Ironlake into a cesspool of lust and depravity. There's just one problem. None of her power remains and she's leashed to you within the confines of the smallest town she could've found herself in.

The Lucas that Lyra knows is a total and utter manwhore. The gift of gab with the personality of a snail. Would she be any different? Or worse?

Leon is a friend of Lucas and son of the richest family in Ironlake, though to many it'd be more accurate to say that he's something of a lackey for Lucas. His homework-doer, his errand runner. Some wondered why he put up with it, other wondered if Lucas had some dirt on him. But the reality was that Leon never experienced the bullying he saw many others like him go through. He could only attribute that to Lucas. If it meant being a glorified personal assistant, then it was worth it.

Angela is Lyra's mother. The owner of an architecture that she took over following her husband's passing. There was always a running joke in the community that she was an undercover spook or FBI agent with how secretive she was about where she was from and how she met her husband. But it's just a joke. Right?

That's all the LIs. There may be some side-girls and one time events, but nothing more. There'll be some other characters added a bit later as they get introduced to the story. But that's it for now. We'll likely be posted scene development/building here. There'll probably be mostly visual stuff posted here. Screen recordings of building scenes, images of final scenes, and probably UI stuff for Ren'py.
May or may not include occasional writing updates, but that's not really up to me.
Discord, Patreon, and other stuffs coming soon.
