I would say that moxxye's review is the only correct one, Kawus' review is misinformed and old (aside from the part saying sprites and graphics look awful, that is still true, graphics were never changed from what you can see in the screenshots).
Yes, I have been long done with this game.
If I remember well, R39 or a few builds before included the first ending and a small formula to calculate the rank, this last build does not add any new scene but just extends the days to 10 to allow the player to actually have a chance to get all the content possible in a single playthrough and introduces the last two endings, with the protagonist's ending being the "main" one.

Kind of shocking to see a game that comes up every month or so on the feed actually move to a Completed state. Thanks and congrats on finishing!
Could be many reasons, hard to know if you will not include the log.
You could try to force windowed mode.

Is it me, or the game is broken in some way? Like, after I upgrade my protagonist above lv3, everything changes. I have 9999999.99 gold and I can Level up even without having the required XP. Also, I can't interact with the NPCs normally like I used to, in the beginning that is. Maybe I haven't fully understood the just yet. Please help.

There are many ways, the game should have a manual included explaining them if I recall correctly.
Anyways, as a protagonist you can do your job as a medium (interact with the counter in your home) and try out your luck at the casino.
Secondary characters have more possibilities to earn money: You can work at the brothel and once you get such profession, you can find your secondary character there with a protagonist character and the money spent by buying her will actually be earned by that character. It works the same way for other professions.
