Yeah it looks bad, but I assure you it's fine.
It looks bad enough that my PC automatically deleted it because it detected a virus.

What the fuck are you trying to pull here? Why is your game so dodgy that this shit happens when EVERY OTHER GAME ON THIS SITE manages to not be a virus and not have this happen?

Maybe try and use a better virus scanner?

'Cause this one isn't infected.

I have honestly no idea why it would flag it as a virus. I've been working on this game for the last two years. As Whyllow said, the file is safe, so it might be a false positive. I could suggest as a mean to troubleshoot to download the file from another mirror just to see if that is the issue

Scanned the file with Virustotal, none of the anti-viruses detected it as having a virus. It's you.

I got it too on Windows 10 Pro with Window Defender. I downloaded it via a Linux VM, and can confirm that VirusTotal gives it a clean bill of health. It looks to be .html with .jpg and .m4v files, and I am unaware of any viral threat that can be carried in those.

In Windows, I had tried downloading from a couple of the links, they both detected "Trojan:Script/Oneeva.A!ml" (whatever that is) and auto-deleted it. Windows Defender is not the BEST antivirus, and this would not be the first false positive I've found. But it's what most Windows users have, and it can still tarnish your reputation.

I re-archived the files into .zip format, which showed no flags with Windows Defender. I would recommend re-archiving in a different format like .zip to solve the false positive.

Did extra research on the matter myself, if your antivirus is Windows Defender, it is possible you had a flase positive as Win10 recently had an update. Otherwise I still don't know why, but with others pitching in they don't have any issues, I think it's safe to say it's either not an issue or one with a specific mirror. I'd like additional info if possible regardless to do more testing. I value the safety of your device(s) and if there is indeed a real issue from one of the mirrors, I want to swap it out as soon as possible!

Yeah, I'll probably change my compression format. Ironically I scanned the files with Windows Defender myself and had no issues...

My Defender was fine, though as the above said I have seen a headline about Microsoft releasing a new security update which may have something to do with it.

Yeah, apparently that security updates can cause weird issues like making Defender think Google Chrome is a virus.

Don't forget McAfee having a "mistake" occasionally in it's definitions where it quarantines excel.exe, or files required to actually have windows boot. But jokes aside, virustotal is a pretty good tool, if your ever not sure use it. Personally i'd be much more willing to trust something that scans a file with multiple anti-viruses if i'm ever not sure about a file. And to be honest, I don't think i've ever really trusted Windows Defender.

Yeah, I came here just to double check the latest version wasn't infected or some shit.
So, I skimmed through the entirety of the HTML using a word processing app to see if it would attempt anything stupid, and nothing.
So then, I decided to bite the bullet and load it seeing that neither a cursory glance or virustotal picked anything up and then I quickly checked the actual outbound connections the game sends out when you open it. It literally did not attempt to connect to anything on the network and only streamed the data from the files to the browser. So unless LoCG is some master at developing day 0 cyber attacks and decided to drop an extremely well hidden payload that will blackmail you later after it gathers proof that you have kinks, I'm absolutely certain this is clean. I may not be an expert so you don't have to trust me. Just run Glasswire, virus total and notepad++ or just run your basic notepad.

I have posted so few comments on this entire site and this is probably because I fall into porn game virus sleuthing rabbit holes at 10AM. Either way though, it's 99% a fucky wucky in MS's shit seeing as how their own antivirus doesn't detect it (Macafree, which is a premium service) but windows defender, the absolute unit thinks it's so bad that you don't even deserve to it "Allow program" without you disabling real time detection.

Thank you for your investigation! If you ran it through notepad (I use Twine myself), you also probably saw my programing skills are... subpar >.< This being said I'll switch to .zip instead of .rar next update as some people mentionned it might be related to the compression format.

Oh yeah, it' pretty messy. Not gonna lie. You can usually tell how good someone is at coding when you crack it open and see how easy it is to read, since if it's easier for the end user, it's easier for the devs. It's why Valve's games for example are easy to modify and decompile. (though, it's only a ballpark estimate because I have no formal training.) One idea about the rar format is that Windows Defender may think it's a zip bomb, which is why if you disable windows defender, unzip it then open the folder containing the game and run it, it's fine. no complaints, but as soon as you touch that rar, it just explodes. This is only my guess, mind you.

To be perfectly candid, this game is essentially my first ever attempt at coding. It works most of the time, but it's not pretty at all. I'm not familiar about the term zip bomb is, but I will try working things out for sure.

games like this proved that everyone think females is lesser.
I honestly don't see where you are getting this conclusion. As a matter of fact, I'd say that the game currently shows the opposite as most progression is made if the player goes down the feminine road. This being said, if you're saying that because you play as a probably submissive male (again, sandbox but most content goes down that trail) which is probably sissifying/feminizing himself, I could understand it, but then again the goal is not to affirm, or to promote, the supperiority of a gender over another, just to make something interesting to play.

There will be a female character at some point which will also be "transformable", but I am the sole developer, designer and writer for the game so those large updates take more time.

Could you make it clearer whats repeatable and whats not also maybe hints on which areas have content, because I kept checking the strip clubs but idk if theres content there or if i need certain stats
