This proves that these people never look at the contexts of things. They only watch what they want, just to make the buzz about pure lies, and nothing else.
We know very well that a lot of the content on Itchio is for adults, and that it is above all an LGBTQAI+ friendly platform.
Your game is a pure fairy tale next to many other games that are millions of times more hardcore.
At this point, they should come forward regarding worse places and content, such as some games on Steam for example.

YouTube is sweating us all with their new laws imposed for about two years on bare skin ... (some of these videos are downright excessively hardcore BDSM)

I read a couple articles about this court case and it just seems like they're grasping at straws to discredit Epic games, for one itch.io doesn't allow downloads when you get it through the epic games store, meaning even if there is sexual content on it it's inaccessible, plus it's a third party, it's like blaming Apple for having safari preinstalled on their devices when you could use it to access porn, it's a reach and it's just funny, somehow my poor little visual novel got dragged into this mess and I ended up in a couple articles lol

To tell you frankly ...
I'm not too worried about you or your game-novel which is just a simple little fairy tale compared to the vast majority of others in this kind of game.
Who knows, maybe all this mess will give you some good publicity ...? (I hope so anyways)
On the other hand, I find their action at a very low level ... - to get someone involved in such an affair who is still barely at his first job.

Its safe to assume this game is abandoned. The dev never responded in all of his social media from discord, twitter, patreon and itch.io. The last time he said something, its about him being sick like sick sick like really sick, so either he died (which i hope he isn't) or he just doesn't have the motivation to continue writing/developing his text based game anymore.

Are you serious...? - as a reminder, this kind of work involves completely dedicating our passion into it, in addition to the fact that it is not even two months after his last updates.
In general, it takes a minimum of three months for anyone to actually have content worthy of the name.
We must therefore wait until the end of August. - there is no point in making him rush, the only thing it will do is to have content not worked properly.
I am not rushing him at all but before may, he always responded even atleast with a quick yes or no but right now all his social media is silent as a graveyard without activity at all. Giving an update to his current status would be nice, for update everyone can totally wait but being ghosted for two month without info about his status like how he is right now after saying he is sick? It sure will made people worry when he is pretty active before.

It's not like you are paying him but he does not deliver. You don't know what's happening in his life, and he totally has no obligation to entertain whatever you want.
It's "Pointless" to assume a "free" game is abandoned. It'll be ready when it's ready, and if it's not, just move on, you don't "need" it in your life.
Not to mention it's very rude to bad mouth people, especially saying they are "died".
Okay i understand that and as for he died, i did said i hope he is not, i am just expressing concern there since his last post is he is sick.
I am in here not trying to ask him to deliver update as soon as possible, if you look through all my comment, i am just concerned with his health and want to know how he is doing right now. Yes, my first post did said, this is probably abandoned but never once did i said i want him to immediately deliver an update.
Seriously you guys need to calm down and read what i commented carefully instead of being pissed and go crazy on me.

Or you could be more mindful of your wording so we wouldn't misunderstand you.
If you are just purely concerned, you wouldn't start a comments like "Its safe to assume this game is abandoned. "
