So I've been looking around DLSite in hopes of finding any games that suit my taste and I've stumbled upon this:

Have anyone thought of translating it? And if not, is it possible for an amateur?(Ik it depends on the engine used but I don't know what they're using in the first place.)

i managed to download the base game and it seems like its not a normal engine (such as rpg maker) so im not sure how easy it would be to translate, unless someone knows a useful plugin.

Amazing! thank you very much, but how does it work exactly? I downloaded the sw-tools-main file from github and typed SW_Tools.exe -decompile_dat but it didnt work, i just get an error:

'SW_Tools.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

In SW_Tools/bin/Debug/netcoreapp3.1/ you have .bat files, so you can edit those files to get it to work with your .dat files. Tested with FGoNyo, and it works

Contacted the guy that did the tool, and he said that she will change the tool to have user interface, instead of use command line bat files, since work with it along using translator++ is a bit messy for users.
For decompile use the following with ZADD.DAT file: SW_Tools.exe -decompile_dat DMD_ZADD.DAT . (backup that .dat file)
For extract text from did_mes (text container), use: SW_Tools.exe -decompile_text DMD_ZADD\DID_MES_20_DAT DMD_ZADD\texts_folder (also backup that did_mes file outside of that folder)
For compile text after editing, use: SW_Tools.exe -compile_text DMD_ZADD\texts_folder DMD_ZADD\DID_MES_20_DAT
For compile dat again: SW_Tools.exe -compile_dat DMD_ZADD DMD_ZADD.DAT

Also be aware when editing that this game text only works with japanese type text, so to use english, without using translator++ de/compile, it needs to be full-width romaji text when you write on files using notepad++ or whatever text editor.
Use this site for that:

Tested and works properly. Text extraction makes the name of export folder a bit messy but just rename it and should be ok

Does anyone know a way that I can understand how you install the translator from GitHub?
