unlocks all patreon buttons, I'm getting the graphics glitches too though.

hardly a savior, mostly these things can be cracked open with simple tools (in this case ilspy and a hex editor do the job).
Unity games usually don't have a .sh script file. I just tried the public demo from their Patreon (so the version in the first post of this thread may be different) and there was a file labelled "Lusts Cupid v0.3.4 Linux Public Demo.x86_64". That's the file I needed to run. Try looking for a similar file. Be aware you may have to make the file executable in order to run it.

Thanks for updating the linux version but I'm having some trouble running it.
Sometimes it just fails to launch instantly, giving me an "Aborted (core dumped)" message in the terminal.
Other times I do get the unity splash screen, then the game's splash screen, but then the screen just goes dark green, almost brown, and just freezes [EDIT: I do hear what I believe is the main menu music playing just fine]. Meanwhile it is using almost 100% of one core of my CPU but not the other, and sits at about 1.2GB of memory usage.

The thing is, you gotta know what line of code you want to change. Simple or not, it's a hassle even for people that code. I never do such things , because fuck you, you gonna tell me how basic I am, innit.

And yes, he is a saviour, for many people that don't want to bloat their PC/Laptops with "simple" tools like hex editor.
You know the same hex editor modders over the globe use to change entire games locked behind hardcode of C++.
People with such wit and dedication making a hex tile by hex tile map in HOMM4 even binding 3D models and sounds to the map so engine could read it, because for 10 years nobody knew what compression and package frame it had where assets were stored. And even then ya know engine reading only two specifically named package frames, to give it a few examples.

I literally made the patch you monkey, I'm telling you it's simple because it's literally forcing a simple boolean getter func to always return true. Here the code you want to swap around is the AllowInFreeMode getter that reads the properties of the options. It was a self deprecating quip meant to encourage people to start opening up the fap fuel games they play and pokeing around.
