Got a bad review, and a bad experience of mine.

Being interested in a [paid] project I saw,
I enter an audition,
Upon finishing the first drawing for free, as an audition,
And I stated I did not expected money.
However he gave me 60 euro as a reward for completion, (at least I thought so)

Then he proceeds to ask me to redraw the pose, the body size, the height and the face of his character.
Sure, why not? A new drawing! A new commission!
I just had to plan the pose again, find new reference, do the line art, colour and lighting again.
also draft different sketches to find the right style.
It's not an easy nor simple process of just "making some changes to the previous pic".

I thought," the first one is done, I can't bear the next one, I may not have the time,
And it's a tense competition, I am not optimistic about my odds in winning,
I should leave before he pays for more, or ask for more changes,
So I tell him I want to exit the audition.
Then I was called an asshole and a scammer, publicly
For "running away right after I got paid".

I don't mind my art being called subpar, everyone can judge my drawing,
what irritates me is being called a scammer that's in search for a quick buck.
As every previous customer knows, I only ask for payment after commission is done.

Therefore I'm gonna be very clear and specific from now on.
1. Paying means "work done"
2. And finishing work doesn't mean an extensive revisit with 4 paragraph,
asking to change the entire body type, clothings and look. That is literally a whole new drawing.
3. Discuss and confirm with me before paying.

Incredibly disappointed.
I still have faith in the community.
(I know it may not be awesome, I still put my sketch and drawings below as attachments. Not letting them go to waste. At least someone can see them.)

The messages basically say "payment sent" then immediately you quit in the very next message. I already took the scam part out because it's mostly a misunderstanding. I tried to set concrete terms at the outset, you suddenly turned in work I didn't agree to, then suddenly quit when I paid for it. You're lucky I'm not calling it a scam.

Literally explained that here.

I thought payment meant the first one is done, I can't bear the next one, I may not have the time,
