Game is based on Adobe Air (such as using the SWF container, which is now obsolete and most have been using HTML5 anyway) so you need to install Adobe Air for the game to run correctly.

Adobe stopped maintaining the SDK/runtimes but Harman is hosting the downloads

Install the runtimes, not the SDK. If you plan to develop applications/games with Adobe Air then install the SDK.

Air is still in development and use, but is now managed by another company acording to wiki. The most recent release was only 2 months ago.
