An example on how to create 16 rotating events by taking advantage of the self switches.
This was made for rotating weather effects, if you want to add variation in the maps.
Create a new project in RPGmaker MV and then download the attached zip and replace the project files.
1st map = place this event on the main map that will control the weather (e.g. the world map with the house, hotel, etc. of your Main Character).
Every time that this map (or maps if you add it in more than one) appears in the game the weather will change
2nd map = place this event on all other world maps
-the weather displayed will be inherited from the last weather of the main map
Common event weather 1 (changes the weather)
-triggered from the event on the first map
Common event weather 2
-triggered from the event on the second map
Edit the common events replacing the scrolling text with the weather, light, etc. effects that you want (pay attention to use the same effects in both common events Weather 1 and Weather 2).
ps. works great with
