VN - Ren'Py - 16 Years Later! [Ep.14 Full] [Wetdreamwalker]

As this is just a demo its not possible to judge the "story" but it is possible to judge the setup and so far its really poor, the girls have almost no connection to the MC at all they are just girls he once spent a year with 16 years ago when there mom dated the MC, they were very young and the MC never married there mom so the girls devotion to the MC is very strange(calling a guy who once dated your mum for a little while stepdad, offering as far as they know a killer into there house).

The english has some mistakes but its still easy to understand.

The personalities of the girl(you only get enough time to really meet one) is odd as she acts like a love struck school girl over a guy she's basically just meeting for the first time

There is not enough game to really judge sex scenes or other content so i wont factor it into my review score

Just completed my play through. The imagery from one picture to another was a bit choppy but was not bad. What was most distracting to me was the grammar. I am not good at spelling and such but when I was trying to read the lines it was very distracting. If that can be fixed by a good proof reader I think you are on an ok path. Yes the story has been played multiple times but its not bad in any way.

I feel like I read this story somewhere before, but that's not the reason I'm giving it one star. The reason this gets one star is the horrible english and the very, very bad renders. The first actual ingame render is so full of noise that you could think it comes from a silent hill movie. Now I know that english is not everyones first language but a little bit of proofreading would have helped a lot. The story is also very, very generic so far and the stepcest just doesn't really make any sense, especially given the premise in general. Overall I can't recommend this game, maybe it will get better with future versions but for now, I'd avoid it and find games that do the father/daughter principle better

I am not a fan of this game. The renders look like they were just mashed tegether and the story line is just to so so. Who wants to have a MC who has been in prison for 16 years regardless of why.
The english is also pretty bad and I think it would help to get a proofreader. For now I can't recommend this game to anyone, it lacks polish and time, especially the renders, which need a lot of work ( denoise!!! )

Review for v0.1:

For a new game, this is amazingly enjoyable. The daughters are attractive with different personalities. The renders are good. For a non English speaker, the text is very understandable, but in several places it suffers from the translate program using the male "his" instead of the female "hers". The walkthrough and the ability to turn on / off seeing the points for the ladies is a nice touch. Not a criticism, but a suggestion for the Dev: The game could benefit from being able to custom input the relationship between the main character and the ladies and their ages. Even possible future ladies that may be extended family that are related or through marriage could be done this way. Nicknames or what characters would call each other in sexual situations could also be added. The defaults would obviously be something acceptable for Patreon rules, but what players choose as names, relations, and ages are up to them and not subject to silly rules. This game has potential and I wish it luck.

although a bit too early in development to make any valid assessment, this is so far a good story. that being said, i hope Dev will keep it on a solid track, with reasonable conflicts and on a good rhythm or Beat.
i see there’s a lot of room for improvement, though; i’ll point up a couple ideas:

• Language: it would be good to have an English native speaker proofreading the text itself, for there are several issues — especially gender related ones;

• Cinematographic approach: the fade-out / fade-in is indeed a nice technique; yet, it is overused and a bit too slow. perhaps Dev should experiment with different tempos (lengths) and retain it to ply only on special moments;

two more things:
it was nice of Ricoh to code a Walkthrough for the game; as far as i see, it works flawlessly.
i wish Wetdreamwalker (Dev) good luck with this novel, and hope this review may've helped those who read it.

It is pretty cool. I like the renders and looking forward how the story grows. I hope there is more like the "father/daughter"-thing. There is a part in the game, the scene while the MC talks to his two daughters, Tegan and Felicia. They talk about the aunt and the character changes from "her" to "his". That was a little akward
