Just leaving this comment to say that this is the probably the most peak H cohabitation game I have ever played. The art, story, voice acting, the simple gameplay loop is just 10/10. Sure there is a lack of animation but I do not mind it at all. I suggest you also play their new game that was released months ago. Same quality (if not better) compared to this masterpiece.

I played this when I was a university student and then after I graduated and now part of the workforce, this game hits even harder. This game taught that a problem shared is a problem halved, and a joy shared is a joy doubled

I completely agree with you; it was one of my first H games, and ever since, I've found most simulation games like that to be bland or lacking in something, except for a few like How to Raise a Happy Neet and Living with Monochrome Sister. I'm still searching for the perfect game. And what's the name of the other game? I'm quite intrigued.

I also played How to Raise a Happy Neet a lot especially when it got updates but I have not yet played it when it got voice acted. Living with Monochrome Sister was also good but I think Living With Sister: Monochrome Fantasy is better overall. The 1room dev's 2nd game is set on a Medieval-type era. The game itself has more plot involment and H content which I really enjoy and the new minigame/game loop kept me engaged throughout my whole playthrough. Though some people have said that it's quite buggy but I did not really encounter any bugs that soft-locked my progress. Some of the scenes though are quite tricky to unlock that I had to browse a Japanese forum to know what to do.

I recommend this post if you want to find anything that matches your interest.

Though I do recommend:
How to Raise a Happy NEET has the same vibe like 1room but the heroine is a loli so I understand if you don't like that sort of thing. The animation is just frames flipping on each other.

(The) Runaway Girl and Me also is decent but

I have not yet finished the game 100% because it takes so long for it to progress. I stopped at the time where the story is almost ending though. For the animation it is really good and the H-scene is very interactive and has a lot of options.

Highly agree with "The Runaway Girl and Me" as something to play after this game and the dev's second game.
