Hype? What hype are you talking about? This has been the case since the real porn dating simulator games and there is no hype for real porn games. Not everyone has money to invest into custom animations or 3d/2d art and in a few cases where the dev goes for like 50+ characters in the game, it's nigh on impossible for a dev who works solo to just create 50+ different character models and animate all of them until and unless he is getting paid a heafty amount through patreon and stuff or has a team. Obviously the porn is stolen but people don't get hyped for the porn as they can get it online from anywhere they want, they are more intrigued as to how it is integrated into a story and how the story is being told. Patrons(most of them) don't pay or support a game for porn, they support it for the story and sometimes for the game mechanics. No one pays to watch porn that is easily available online.
