Version 0.5.6 Alpha was released a few hours ago. I’m not even gonna drop links here since it’s only for high-tier Patrons. Now, after a couple hours of rest, I’ve already started working on the next thing, Pamela’s route. Estimated time? No clue. The public release of version 0.5.5 will come once I’m done with 0.5.6. Sorry, but if there’s no money, there’s no game. Keeping the public versions behind the current one is how it works. It’s either that or no more free game at all.
The NSFW games scene is a real mess lately. ITCH is barely working anymore. Still, a bunch of us devs joined forces for the first NSFW Bundle since the payment processor issues with Steam and ITCH. If you feel like helping out a bit, here you go:
Yeah, it’s not new. This started a few days ago. The total raised might look big to some of you... but most of us are only getting 1%. And then you gotta add all the cuts from ITCH, and in my case PayPal too... so from that amount (right now about $4000), I end up with maybe 20 bucks if I’m lucky. That’s life for most of us. Don’t be mean, chip in. Thanks.

Well, today was a day of important changes... But first things first...
Another bundle that several F95 developers are participating in. This time there are 95 games, and the duration is much shorter than the previous bundle:
So, the big change from my side.
I had been thinking about leaving itch for a while. It never really worked out. I think I made about 10 dollars in a year from donations, and that’s no joke. My game, for some strange reason, barely got any visibility, almost like it had a shadowban, even with itch taking 10% of the revenue. The NSFW developer issue from a couple months back still hasn’t changed, and I doubt it ever will. We’re basically forced to post our games for free if we want any attention.
Instead of quitting itch, I went the opposite way and tackled the problem head-on.
I left my main itch page with version 0.5 as a demo, linking clearly to a new page with version 0.5.5 for sale. Itch will probably hide the new page, but the old page spreads the word. Self-promotion and redirect, all in one.
Better to have more options than fewer.

I hadn’t posted anything here for a bit because I’ve been super swamped... A few days ago 0.5.5 went live here on F95 and 0.5.6 on Patreon... and I recently started working on 0.6, which covers the first competition day.
Obviously it’s not all at once, there are a few loose ends that need to line up so both paths can merge again... We start with a Flashback. I figure someone remembers when in the forest it looked like Emma, Kaoru and MC were gonna end up in a threesome but Kaoru bailed at the last moment?... She had a mission, something really important to do, and that shows up at the beginning of 0.6.
The MC’s group heading to the meeting point with the other teams, then getting instructions and competing for the first time.
At the meeting spot, though not everyone’s there yet... It’s planned that at some point there’ll be more than 20 characters on screen. Right now there are 13...
The next one is just a test image. But I never test things I won’t use, that’d be a waste of time, and with thousands of images to render it’s a luxury I can’t afford. This or something very similar will happen when the time comes:

More images from the upcoming 0.6 version... Right now there are already over 340 images created. And many more to go. This will definitely be the biggest update so far.
Finally, it happened, we totally lost it... Creating stories for so long has its consequences sooner or later.
