Hello there,

I don't talk a lot but I write, read and play a lot. It has been a while that I wanted to try my own games. I am fond of the 3D kinetic ren'py corruption female protagonist ones so I will probably (surely) goes into that direction.
I am learning Daz currently and trying to find a good rendering settings. I am testing lights and blurs adjustements and I would like to have your thoughts about what is the best for you between these tests, and if you have any tips/tricks that could improve them if needed:

Test A:

Test B:

Test C:

Test D:

Thank you and have a beautiful day!

I finally decided to go into the D direction. I need to remove some walls to let enter more of the sunlight but it feels better this way imo.

if you are going this route, you may want to check out a script called camera doctor, it will allow you to create a cutaway, and choose what light to cut away and what not to, it will also greatly improve render times as well.

good work!

A looks like soft 3 point lighting.
B diffuse lighting possibly overhead or ghost lights
C directional lighting from dome (sun)
D = A and C and possibly B?

I like D best. But A and B can be good too In some situations. A is hard to keep consistent images with if you have more than one camera angle.
keep up the good work!

I'm not an artist but I like the brightness of B and D the best. Test A feels more like an artificial set, and the shadows in C shift the focus away from the character. I like D the best because the light keeps the character in focus, but the complementary shadows make it a more interesting scene. It looks like the sun is setting so she's been thinking for awhile, probably making a tough decision about which guy to choose :D
