Can someone explain to me how they make AI art actually look like the characters, instead of like an anime girl vaguely reminiscent of Ami?

I see this topic of lessons in love "fan art" has been poisoned by the absolute garbage that is AI art. I do not understand why this remains a thing and i do not understand why so many tolerate it or even like it. I would rather see fewer proper artwork made by real humans with real effort then lifeless copy and pastes made by a lifeless AI.
I will not apologize for double posting but i wanted to and have said my piece after seeing the AI images apparently showing up in this thread. Been quite a while since i last looked at this topic. Sorry if i seem angry but i really dont like AI generated images, though i wil admit i have found it is good for creating truly horrifying, or just wierd, nightmare fuel images.
What is the difference between Ai and 3d? Both are created by someone other than the person posting them to a forum or adding them in a game. The renderer of any fan art or game just finds a model online and poses it, there is quite literally ZERO difference between AI and 3D. I will admit that I prefer to wank to 3D than AI especially in a game but this whole argument/battle over AI is theft or AI sucks is insane as 3D is the exact same thing and no one seems to have an issue.
Both are theft and garbage compared to hand drawn art using the mental gymnastics people all over the net seem to use. I personally don't care as long as the image is attractive and I feel I can fapp. If you feel like you can not wank/fapp/enjoy AI because someone online told you AI was bad that is NOT anyone's problem than your own and has ZERO rights to stop anyone from posting said images.
