Thanks friend, I will always be indebted to you for your help in the forum, it is a fucking injustice and a loss of irrecoverable files for users. If I wanted to close the forum I could notify a couple of days before and we would have been able to recover our work, more than 100,000 pics thrown in the trash and without the possibility of recovering them

Hi I agree with all the comments posted, and like most people I thought it was me, good to know I'm just like most people not that special they didn't just pick me out anyway it's look like a new start and I'd say this seems like a good place and with a lot of the people who made the last site so good, and it wasn't the owner but the posters that made it, and I doubt all that work is lost but on many users files and hopefully they'll take the time and effort to repost them, but thanks to everybody in the last site for the effort they put in the make the site so good, thanks again

The owner of the site told us moderators that he wanted to delete the entire content of the forum. I advised him not to, because otherwise many users would leave the forum, but he didn't listen to me. I suspect that he has not only deleted the content of the forum, but the forum itself. So the forum is history. So sorry ...

Well, damn. Helluva loss, but I want to thank you for all your hard work keeping the forums up and running as long as you did. You did all you could and provided a huge service. I sure appreciate the information. Thanks, good sir and it's great to see you here!

well, yes, this is a typical story , there is a majority that seems to try not to break the rules , but at one point problems appear from being too free in their thoughts . Everything is closing, everyone is running away...but there is a new anthill here.

As I said elsewhere (in a wrong thread, I thought this one ended a long time ago when I saw it had opened in 2021), from an outsider pov, the power that be at 8muses seems to have gone from bad to worse with their management (registering on invitation only, uploading pics for VIP-members only, banning for, let's say, questionable motives...). Looks like it finally hit rock bottom (I agree with you, to delete a forum content is one of the best way to scare away the users); sad.

Wouldn't surprise me, there have been fundamentalist religious groups targeting porn sites as part of some crazy new puritanical movement. Groups like Exodus Cry have gone after Pornhub and are responsible for that brief moment when Onlyfans contemplated banning porn from their site.

8muses doomed itself when it abruptly banned hosts like imagetwist, and banned posters using such hosts. This "Don't use a pay per click host to share stuff that doesn't belong to you" strategy that totally backfired.

Many regular posters left, some of them, together with ppc hosts, reported 8muses to copyright owners like dofantasy or gumroad who have pockets deep enough to start a litigation: since they had lost a (little) income, better kill a forum that was sharing content otherwise posted on their hosts.

Watch out as this is something that may happen here too, for exactly the same reasons.
