Okay, downloaded game. Can confirm that hypothesis is true. MTL is in this uncanny valley of appearing legible while also having words that don't belong. It's like losing your sense of reality trying to decipher it.

Ah, makes sense. Checked the DLSite page and saw that there's a 'slug' difficulty for those that just want sex and zero combat. Still holding off on playing it since the MTL is enough to give me headache despite the butter smooth Live2D animations.

Yeah, it's been nearly two years since I pre-ordered Pregcess from Kagura Games. Still no word on a release date.

already played this game with slug difficulties until you got to normal ending, after that you need to give birth to 45 kids before true ending, skipping almost all texts with ctrl, yet still requires 7h30m. Most of the scene is similar, but only differs by text. You really have to slog through the texts and effects

Things that didn't work as a fix:

• Change extraction locale option to UTF-8
• Change extraction locale option to Japanese
• Run with locale emulator in Japanese
• Change Windows system locale to Japanese

So the real questions are:

• Is OP in Japan or something?
• How the F did anyone else play this?
