Review for Crown Of Thorns - V.1.30 - pc - Compressed version
English Language (For me very important, I find it often off-putting if I'm reading something in "bad English" and English is not my native tongue):

The language is good, a few mistakes here and there, but nothing serious.
Story:
7/10
It is a good try, and the story itself is a good try for a porn game, but it needs more work, and it is very childish at times. But as I said, it is a porn game so it is enjoyable.
The choices have minimal effect on the story, there is a single parameter, corruption, that if low it blocks you from some lewd scenes.
The choices affecting corruption are clearly marked.
Characters:
5/10
All of the characters lack a real feel. They could use more work to make them and their actions more believable.
Art:
4/10
Here lies my first major objection with the game.
Graphics of medium quality, the faces bad, the eyes and the expressions strange and zombie-like, sometimes even disturbing for me.
Found the text bar horrible, I removed it and kept only the text.
In the settings there is brightness and contrast options, but even with customization I was not happy with the results. This may be a problem of the compressed version but I consider it unlikely.
In general the art diminished the story, when usually it is the other way around. I would suggest a major rework for the next chapter, and the art creator to read the text he is supposed to be creating graphics for.
Excitement (this is a sex game after all, counts double in the score):
3/10
Although the text was not bad, the bad graphics, the strangeness of the faces, it just didn't do it for me.
This is my second major objection.
Gameplay

Intro - Horrible auto speed, not customizable, not available in the history, had to make print screens of every intro screen ( I think 6 in total) to read it, and wasted my time.
Unable to scroll back before choices and certain parts of the story, save often.
The picture story does not in sync with the text or differs from it, making the images extremely annoying or funny at certain times.
In general although the story could have potential, it does not deliver.
Also it is small, not a finished work, just an intro. I completed in in less than 3 hours, and I wasted about one hour with the intro and the text bar.
For other games it would be ver 0.1 or at most 0.2. It would be more honest to label this a demo, rather than a finished work.
Sound:
6/10
Overall: 5/10
Although the score could go either 2 or 3 stars, I'm rating it 2 out of 5 due to the art, animations, and issues with excitement.
Good language and a story with potential are not enough to climb this work to 3 stars.
