There appear to be issues with the itch.io page which I'm getting sorted out.
Still working on it, storyline is done, I know who I want to add, how I want to end this project eventually.
Some preliminary character design tests on the post along with one cleaner image of a new character.
Made it very clear that this game WILL be finished, regardless of financial support/gain. (I know words in this regard are meaningless so just watch me work, slow as it may be, my actions will speak for me.)

Since dev is here and cited they're back to working on the game again, does this thread get changed to an "On-Hold" for now then? Regardless, glad to see dev seems to be okay and that this is begin worked on again.

I don't think so as I believe the 'On Hold' tag is for when the dev explicitly says they're going to be unable to work on it for some period of time. Now as much as it isn't abandoned, I also haven't updated the actual game in a while (although I've posted in the thread/on Patreon so I would've thought the abandoned tag would be removed but it is what it is) so I think it's staying there until I finish this update and get it live.

Now once again, I want to be absolutely clear here. I AM working on it and don't want anyone thinking I'm full of shit or taking people for a ride so if you think you are, please pull your support off Patreon and you can decide whether you want to continue supporting once this update finally gets done. I'm getting pretty close to finishing what I want for this update so hopefully I won't have to sound like a broken record player. I would also like to thank everyone following regardless for being so patient, I do really appreciate it.

I was saying that in a positive light. Sorry if you thought it was coming across as negging. I was glad to see you were working on the game again, and just thought having Abandoned tag would hurt you on that front and asked about it (as some will ignore games based on status tags and would miss it).

All the best on coming back to working on the game again and that you're having fun making the game again, as really that's the best part of doing stuff like it imo (it is for me when making mods for games). Nothing but goodwill coming on my end.

Yeah the abandoned tag probably does but it'll be gone once it gets updated so I'm not thinking about it too much.

I do enjoy making it, though a lot of the time right now I'm losing my shit at myself because I'll draw something, think it's fine then come back the next day and think it's completely unacceptable hahaha
So yeah it's not going as fast as I'd like but we just do what we can eh?

I don't think they'll fold on banning content, considering their primary purpose is h content, especially hosting stuff patreon kicked off their platform. They'll probably take other methods of payment like monero/bitcash/etc if they don't already (which prepaid can easily be bought with visa/etc on different websites) if visa/MC even got after them.

yes true. the only propable solution would be alternate methods pf payment like the ones you mention. the problem imho though is that not many people have knowledge about the hows and wheres. the hit was pretty much lightning fast. it will turn around eventually but it will take time. I dont know much to be fair. but now these people have created a way for others like them to push and expant their censorship. pray for the best I suppose.

Yeah unfortunately for the moment its about as best once can do. Honestly I think devs should have been doing subscribestar in the first place instead of itch IMO, as itch has always been a janky website that seems to have barely been updated in a decade or so. Idk what they're doing with whatever revenue they get considering that, since even most downloads are redirected to file hosts.

Finished the 0.25 version. It's a fun game, could do with touchups but fun was had.
