It was my second SaintBomber's game after the Embric of Wulfhammer Castle.
It is both similar and different in many ways.
I like the plot, the character development, the lore.
I really like that similar to Embric it develops from easy and funny game with jokes into serious and complicated story.

I do not write reviews for porn games. I came here expecting a quick fap and instead got a wonderful game that puts modern rpgs to shame. If your looking for porn you're not gonna find it here. While there is nudity and some sex scenes they contribute fully to the story and character development. I unironically cried at two points during this adventure. Only two complaints. There is no quest log or book or whatever so when i came back after a break I did have to reorient myself with no help and I got minorly stuck at the end because i thought a flashing icon on the world map was pointing to the tile below the tile it was actually pointing to. I have to state again this was a wonderful experience.

    FIRST AND FOREMOST!
THIS IS NOT A PORN GAME!
IF YOU CAME HERE FOR PORN, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!

Ok, that out of the way?
    I loved it.
A lot of world building, a lot of lore, a lot of characters and character development.
A metric shit-ton of questions.... but thankfully, most are answered.

There are places you'll wish to explore that you can't. There is questions that get answered but those answers seem to miss context, still leaving you feeling like you're missing something. There are what look like quest lines that... simply never happen (ISPOILER]Like the Elemental shrine, and fire spirit that Garnet planned to look into helping[/ISPOILER]).

And, my biggest gripe with game made by this creator, despite a decent ending, there is some closure missing, namely All the side characters. A post-credit world run, where you can revisit all major places and characters, to celebrate with them, would be wonderful.

There was also something that happened that I feel the game did not give the emotional weight it deserved, that afterwards seemed mostly forgotten about I wish there was a way to help Garnet's "clone" sister. Her death was tragic, avoidable, and other than one line of anguish from Garnet, largely unemotional. It is hinted at that what is in your mind of her is MORE than just your view of her, and there is no way to save her...

All that said, the game took me around 25 hours, had a fun combat system, an interesting world, nice dungeon setups, and a cohesive plot.
As an RPG maker RPG, it earns its 5 stars.
As a game you're playing for sex, however... it is 2 stars, at best.

I gave it 5 because I enjoyed the experience thoroughly. I fully understand why many playing the game would not.

    My advice to the studio?
Expand on the sex scenes. That doesn't mean more art.
There is... without naming specific names, another VERY WELL know RPGM game that has it's sex scenes done with text screens, telling you in pleasent detail, what is happening.
For all the sexual undertones of the game, sexual interests of party members, etc... with only one major exception I can think of, sex scenes are, mostly, a fade to black.
And I feel the game is weaker because of that. If you want to be a game with strong sexual themes, don't shy away from the sex. It doesn't have to be harshly pornographic, but the game would actually benefit (and players would feel more rewarded), if at least a few of the major scenes had a little more to them.

It's a charming, classic of a game much like Saint Bomber's other game, Embric of Wulfhammer. The only problem is that this is actually a RPG and combat-wise it's the generic RPGmaker affair, so it feels a little like filler at times.

It took me a while but I've finally beaten the game and now I feel like I give it a fair review but before I state I want get the most important question out of the way first: Is this a good Porn Game? The answer is no, there is very little porn in this game and what is there is so lite that in most cases it barely rises above mere ecchi, if you are looking for a good game for fapping then I recommend you look elsewhere because you will find nothing but disappointment here.

However if you are looking for a good game to play than that a whole another situation, there is nothing special about the game play itself and without a guide it is easy to find yourself lost and even then I needed to edit my save life to escape a softlock I found myself in, furthermore the game requires A LOT of backtracking and there are times when your progress will halted until you can raise enough money and sadly money is not something the enemies have an abundance of.

Now that the bad has been taken care of I care heap praise on this game without guilt because it deserves it. The writing is fantastic as the game not only succeeds at being funny but it also handles drama and surprisingly hard topics such as PTSD and Abuse with a level of maturity and understanding that is hard to find. On top of that the game is a masterclass at organic world building and lore, I never once felt like I was being forced to sit thorough a lecture or a cut scene. Furthermore there are a surprising number of side quests who are written with the same skill and care as the main quest.

The characters in the game are also wonderful and with a surprising amount of depth. The main party is an extremely likable group whose every member has clearly defined personality and flaws. They grow and mature as the game goes on, they clash with each other, reconcile and in the end become a band of sisters. The praise also extends to the secondary and even tertiary characters who are all fun to interact with. The villains themselves deserve special praise as the game does and excellent job at making you hate them and then feeling sorry for them.

I beat the game in 28 hours 10 minutes and 15 seconds and there were still things I haven't found, such as Flourine nightmare weapon and a battle that apparently was suppose to happen in a tower in Lilympus but I couldn't figure out how to get in the tower. Finally the ending left me with some unanswered questions and the feeling like I missed something important but I'm not sure what it is.

    TL;DR
The porn is bad but the game is well worth your time.

I was really surprised the dev of Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle was still making games years latter, so I knew I had to try this game because of all the fun I had with the previous game prior. While its not a walking sim like the former a Dragon's reQuest has to be one of the most entertaining straight rpgs I've played in a long time. Every single map is filled with so much love and content in the form of flavor text, atelier lvs of flavor text in every nock and cranny, the text itself is humorous and adds to the characters in the party with all their bantar it really endears them.

Gameplay wise it's the defosen with a few scripts, but the battles are fun too and not as much as a slog and throws you a few mechanics so that you aren't too bored with it, but the power of the story telling and the dev's intertwinement of the systems and storys really makes it really enjoyable. Also taxation is a great mechanic.

Story Wise, man I love characters and the execution that Saintbomber brings to the table and their particular flavor when it comes to exploring character relationships is always something that makes my brain expand. It's great, It's amazing.

Over all I love this game and really want to support the dev for all their hard work! I hope you guys like the game too and consider throwing a bux or two the dev's way.
