Kind of torn in this one. I am not a huge fan of puzzle games like that, but it'd be unfair to rate it lower due to that, since it does what it says.
If you play "A foreign world" and want to know more about the world building, you need to play this. It would have been better as a VN prologue though as the two games have little in common otherwise.
Also, the scenes are interesting only if you played the other game. They are extremely tame, to the point that they undermine the gritty dark theme, "a foreign world" tries to convey of this place. In that sense it feels a bit like fan service without actually delivering.
Still, the scenes are nice and the puzzles are fun for those that care about that game play.
