To kill Nathaniel, no need of nuclear weapon, humain kill them self with such dedication we had all we need...

-Why not some gaz, example 12,800 ppm of co2 causes immediate loss of consciousness and death within 1 to 3 minutes, odorless, tasteless... And there are more deadly gaz...
-Or maybe some neurotoxine, The black mamba's venom, a neurotoxin called dendrotoxin, acts very quickly and a single bite is enough to kill. The venom paralyzes the respiratory muscles within minutes, and 10 mg of venom is "enough" to kill an adult man, can be transforms into aerosol. or much more deadly synthesis like vx...
-Or poison, Botulinum toxin (botox) is thus the most violent poison in the world in terms of LD50, between 10 and 13 ng/kg (nanogram/kilogram) by inhalation (i.e. a lethal quantity).
-Or some weapon like laser, emitters of ionizing radiation, etc...
it s easy to kill a main make of bone and fleach even if he had some capacity.

And

Nephilim...? https://f95zone.to/threads/nephilim-v0-4-6-buuplays.143045/
Had this in this story of the first li...
I like the second idea. But please finish this game before...
Please stop with the apockohLIPtickle persiflage?:eek::sick::sleep::illuminati::whistle:

it's weird that an agent as competent as MC only thought of conventional weapons to kill Nathaniel.
he has murdered hundreds of people, so he should know that there are other ways.
stuff like viruses, potent diseases, radiations, poison... they should have at least explored those with Amber.
he seems well read, so he should have at least known how "the war of the worlds" aliens ended.

also, there is a chance that in the moment people from the other world transfer, they lose all their magic power for a short period. predicting where Nathaniel will appear next and focusing a big attack when he arrives should at least wound him and put him on the defense for a long while, even if it doesn't kill him outright with his guard down. Tracy and Amber said to not count on it to be enough to kill him, but it's still a good moment to aim for an attack. there is no use letting Nathaniel arrive at his leisure, and waiting for him to power up, to try and negotiate or talk...

Honestly Ester surprised me last update. It is clear that she finally got her footing after arriving from their world. She is becoming one of the most interesting characters. Having her powers sealed made her try to get an edge in a different way in her world to be able to take her place. Now that she is in a world where everyone is like her, she now feels like a political and social "monster" in the making. At least that is the impression she gave me. I look forward to the next instalment.

I think the seal only prevents her ability to be copied. she can still use it, but she refuses to do so, from what I understood. and getting stronger by draining lifeforce is pretty vague. what kind of strength is really increased ?

You might be right. I should go back and look at the codex. But If she refuse to use it for reasons, it amount to the same as her power is unavailable. I doubt she earned the respect from the others simply because she could use her power. She is not saying much about it to the MC, and the player, shrouding it in mystery. I imagine that in her world refusing to use your power might be akin to refusing to using an arm or refusing to walk. You don't get respect simply for that, but she still got it.

it is said clearly that she got the respect because she always had special treatment from the old man, because he might have felt guilty for sealing her ability being copied. she might have had some kind of princess treatment. so being treated as special, she probably grew up feeling that as granted. we can see she stands almost as an equal to Tracy.

you clearly played the game more than me or have it fresher in memory. I'll try playing it again in full during the next update. Her demeanor and the fact that others rely on her for negotiations mean something. I doubt that you get that kind of recognition if it's unwarranted. Maybe she got a more thorough education due to that initial treatment as a kid but earned it later in life? If not as soon as the old man is not around anymore she would have lost at least part of that respect and some would have disagreed to send her to negotiate.

I can't remember if it was mentioned ages ago, I vaguely feel something similar was, but a cool and really dark way to defeat Nathaniel would be to use the healing power as an attack by speeding up his cell growth effectively giving him rapid cancer

yeah I just completed a first playthrough last week :)
Esther is still a smart girl, and she has both charisma and social skills, for sure. she can read people and emotions, quite easily. and she reliably takes care of Lucy. She did earn the respect of the others, and is seen as second in command after Tracy. and having the special treatment only helped her hone those skills, as she didn't have to train to master her ability. she could focus on training other things.

it was mentioned that healing is very inefficient, so it requires tons of energy, while defending against it doesn't require that much. you'd just be out of mana before Nathaniel even thinks you are attacking him :D
and yeah, you forgot there is an inherent defense in every ability. your target won't always be automatically affected by your ability just because you want it.

Well that is fucking dark ...but also not biologically possible. Cancer requires several mutations (i.e., damage to the genome) to occur, and healing would - by definition - correct any such damage, including any mutation that would remove contact inhibition. To kill him with cancer you would have to intentionally cause it directly, because it couldn't happen as a result of "superhealing."

decided to give this one another chance, still going through...
it was said Sally can scan and learn person body, and not just mend and heal it, but even regenerate missing bits... so why Lucy still blind? no one even bothered to fix her?
MC worried about bugs and tell agent-girl to change her clothes, yet there are bunch of beds delivered and assembled by agents, now in bedrooms where girls talk with each other - this totally fine and definitely not bugged?
also - Megan fox? seriously?

the "old man" took her sight, so it's not a natural blindness, probably that's why, maybe beyond her abilities to fix it. She definitely wasn't allowed to do it while in the other universe, but maybe here? Dunno, worth exploring.

Let me mention something here which I already said on my Discord. I love it when people talk about the game and where it‘s heading. Sometimes they get it right, and sometimes they are off. Every now and then they inspire me to add things to the game which I hadn‘t planed for

But sometimes they are so spot on that if I would release my next update as it is (which I have already written before the comments were published) it would seem like I just incorporated the themes and plotholes that were pointed out by the players. And it feels a little unsatisfying. Still, I won‘t fall to the temptation of changing my story simply because people have figured out John snow is the hero and is supposed to kill the night king. I mean…

Sometimes when I read a comment explaining a characters motivations, I am surprised. I had them in the back of my mind when writing but I didn‘t think that I was good enough to convey all of them properly. Well, it‘s always a pleasant surprise. Hope you keep enjoying the game.

also thanks for pointing out the beds could be bugged. I didn‘t think of that and yeah i should probably add a line where the mc or morris checks them.

Hey, I would suggest, as long as it makes the story better, who cares. Your game will be played long after that one comment has been forgotten. Actually 1-2 pages with comments further and 99% of your game players will never see the comment anymore. And not even talking about most people having a memory of a hamster...
