I don't think I understand your question, if you're referring to the opening scene where it asks if you're of age, Sami is using the name of the user's computer/profile.

How does the character automatically know the name I was going to choose at the beginning? Aside from being creepy I find it alarming.

Hey, I was playing around with Sami's fourth wall breaks... she knows the name of the user's profile on whatever computer the game is being run on, but this still doesn't work on Linux or Android. She just calls you "None".
