That Term is Fauxcest what does it mean basically Fulse or Fake Insest in other words works of Fiction.

Definition from Wikipedia:

Fauxcest[ ]
Fauxcest refers to pornographic or erotic depictions of incest by actors who are merely pretending to be related but in actuality have no biological relation. Pseudoincest and fauxcest are sometimes categorized under the umbrella of smut. The term fauxcest is a portmanteau of faux and incest. It is sometimes transcribed as faux-incest, is sometimes used interchangeably with family roleplay or fictional incest, and, besides women, its primary consumers are couples and . According to one pornographic film director, part of the appeal of the fauxcest genre is a desire by porn consumers to view taboo and controversial content. As of 2016, the genre had been growing in popularity at a rate of 1000% since 2011 and 178% since 2014, a spike that some industry professionals have attributed to female porn consumers who largely seek a content that is accompanied by a narrative. Variations of pretend relationships include siblings, mom–son, dad–daughter, step-relatives and various others.

One of the reasons behind a trend towards pseudoincest over actual blood-relation incest within fiction is the bannable nature of consanguineal forms, since some publishers will refuse to publish such content.

On , one in ten purchases had a fauxcestual theme, and one sociologist has said the theme has become more mainstream as evidenced by its depiction on fantasy novel and television series such as . Pseudo-incest fictional books began to increase in popularity in the year 2011. However, some self-publishing companies are welcoming towards content that has pseudo-incestual themes.

and as far as Visa and Mastercard go Fauxcest is not banned by there TOS

Now by telling you all about this, I may be cutting my own nose to spite my face as I along with a business partner will be relaunching our site for dev funding in the first half of 2019. But I felt it's too important to hold back from telling my fellow Developers and Friends in the Erotic gaming community.

I can already hear the same people who are demanding an inseki tag or that games with step-relations not be given an incest tag complaining about this. It's theoretically genius, but, just another thing that we'd have to patch anyway.

@DarthSeduction True, But it's harder to make a case for Renders and Animation. In the US Drawings and CG are not legally in the definition of Pornography. Only Real People are

Heres an answer a developer got last year, which kinda includes "pretend" relationships (they all are since they are not real but yeah)

I linked the post, but heres the sentence in regards to the topic.

"We define incest as sexual activity between family members or relatives. We also include larger extended family, which means that we don’t only look at the blood line but also stepfamily members whether or not they are bound by law. If for example the characters call each other sister and brother or mother and son, we will review the content as incest. "

As can be seen, they can apply their weird brain gymnastics to everything they want. So the whole idea of pretend incest in a fantasy (game) story can be ruined by their way to look at it, they could still say its "incest" even when the story says otherwise.

Holy fuck, the fact that we are at that stage, that fantasy is more regulated than real life shows that theres something really wrong with society/humanity.

Unless you are making $1000's of dollars a month already Patreon will eventually ban you if you are an adult creator. They have already stated numerous times that they are "cracking down" on adult content. Just look at how many games that have already been banned without even having banned content. Patreon don't need any reason to ban you, it's in their terms and conditions if they want you gone, it's gonna happen, and when you appeal they just ignore you. It's already happened to countless devs. The ONLY reason games like Summertime Saga are still allowed on there is because of the huge amount of money that it makes for Patreon. Patreon are fully aware that everyone who plays it are using the "unofficial" incest patch.

Incest Might still be low hanging fruit in terms of game downloads but it's just ban bait for Patreon's "Trust and safety" team who don't actually look at the games content but instead come to places like this forum.

Some devs have tried keeping their patreon for other projects whilst still working on their incest or adult content but unless they have significant support already, they never get off the ground. Some of the best adult games out there, or games with the most potential are struggling to get any traction because there just isn't a good enough alternative. All the attempts to provide a service for adult devs have been too expensive or slightly shady.

Not really banning a ton of people from what I've seen even saw a few new devs. Part of it is Patreon does not index NSFW stuff for search. Which is part of why devs have to come here. although does a great job of indexing NSFW stuff. Also, anyone with brains should have known By me a coffee and the like were never a long-term answer because of Mastercards ban on "highly protective content". A good amount of those that were banned got complaints because they were not updating content.

You're Quite possibly right. Although I can think of a few games off the top of my head that were following the rules, and regularly updating and got banned for no other reason than patreon seemingly wanted them gone. It certainly seems that if Patreon have "marked your card" you're on borrowed time. Buy me a coffee are scammers anyway, I've heard several dev's say that they have struggled to get their money out.

Some devs have their own system set up on their websites which work in basically the same way as Patreon but people are reluctant to sign up to them, I assume that is also a trust thing.

The incest ban is kind of pointless and not really enforceable anyway since it's so easy to patch around. Even if the game was originally written with zero incest, it takes someone with minimal knowledge 5 minutes to make a patch that turns your roommate into your sister, your neighbor into your cousin, and your landlord into your mother. There's nothing they can do about that.

The ban on content that looks underage makes a lot more sense although trying to enforce it is pretty subjective. What looks 20 to me might look 16 to you or vice versa. It's the ones that are obviously more along the lines of 12, 13, maybe younger that give me the creeps regardless how popular they are.
