Dude... I've been here less time than you and I can figure things out. They don't play every update, they don't go ask the dev what the hell the new version adds when there's no official changelog on their patreons or whatever. How are they supposed to describe crap they don't know?

Devs sometimes use weird ass ways to version their games, that's not the site's fault either, simply download the latest version, like it's pretty obvious which one it is. Also, every patch I've clicked leads to a comment explaining what the patch does, and compressed versions can be found by using the search bar usually, just like full saves if you want...

You are far too upset about a non-issue. Most games are not that heavy and can be re-downloaded easily enough, even with not so great speeds, and even without description or images there are tags, comments and reviews you can read to figure that out, or you can even search the game online you know, outside of this site?

Threads made by devs usually have everything you are looking for, and it should be obvious why... but the rest are not made by devs.

You can't possibly be this mad about such thing, how do you even move around online if this upsets you?

the changelogs of 99% of all ive seen on this site are reversed which means the latest changelog is the one on top and the oldest is at the end …the given download links are always for the latest patchnotes …and the version number thing its discussed a lot but i dont see how one can not clearly see whats the actual newest version… if you want to know what details may have changed its good way to look at the latest posts in that thread… some devs make a rework of their actual projects and start eith different version numbering than but thats up to the individual dev nobody else can do anything about it …
..often they mention below the install tab or in the description tab what every version means like steam version gog version … bu tyou should know by now after years what that means steam is always the worst with censorship and yada yada yada and compressed version is what the name says …so i dont see whats exactly the problem for you…

Of course, you can share your ideas and requests, but being rude and accusing people who disagree with you of being suck-ups won’t get you anywhere. There’s only one thing to say to someone like you, who clearly struggles with communication: take it or leave it. No one is obligated to develop a special service just for you.
