A simple, Noobish question

Is there a way to receive onsite alerts, but NOT email alerts?
Because they're literally filling my email folder -.-'

While the first option disable All mailing from the site, and that include admins emails too, so i don't recomend it,
the second options will probably do the trick, thanks!

Something I noticed when I shut off emailnotifications was that if you already "subscribe" to a thread it will still have the emailnotifications on it. So you have to manually disable them on each thread.
