VN - Ren'Py - Completed - A Soldier's Struggle [v1.0 Steam] [Moonbox]

First of all, it's not a game. You don't have a single choice to make; you're simply reading and watching a romantic graphic novel. It's hard to even classify it as porn, it's soft-porn at best. There's no animation, no sound, and the story itself is a bit too tender.

So why five stars?
It's like E.T., which is so ugly it's beautiful.
The first thing that captivated me was Sarah and Mia, who radiated a twin resemblance to a certain Scarlett J., better known as the Black Widow.

The plot, tender and strongly Harlequin-esque, was as captivating as a cocaine soap opera. It might seem silly and shallow, but it still captivates.

The characters are well-developed, with interesting personalities.

The models were a bit of a disappointment, but that's a subjective assessment; I've never been a fan of Jennifer Lopez clones with significantly expanded hips.

Despite a few significant aesthetic flaws, the story still resonated with me emotionally, despite the overt incest.
For that, I'm giving it five stars.

The normal boring incest VN. Everybody loves MC because he's able to have basic human qualities, father is a lunatic, every woman is pregnant in the end and so on, you've seem it one million times before.
I like the models, the English is went through proofreading so it's perfectly readable, downside is no animations or sound.
It's nothing much it's a short VN I would give 2.5 stars if possible.

Moonbox does it again, great story, great characters, great ending. I want more! Expanded epilogue with the side characters would be great, understood it isn't part of the scope. Each character was interesting in their own way.

A perfect erotic VN with elements of porn.
The tension is there, the slow burn is palpable, and the steamy visuals are present.
It's not a game, not really; the only choice you get is either to apply the patch and then MC bangs his mother and sister, or not.
There is not a single choice in the game.
Still, it's finished, it's nice looking, and as a bonus, you bang a totally not Scarlett Johansson.

A mediocre kinetic incest VN with no sounds and no animations. No animations is, like, whatever, sometimes it's better to have none, than to have terrible ones. But being completely silent? Not even BGM? C'mon bruh. If you've played Grandma's House before, this is essentially the same thing, but smaller in scope with marginally better writing and more build-up. There are a couple of sex scenes for each of the two characters and they're fairly well-directed. One of the asset-flipped models is a giant woman for some reason, that sticks out like a sore thumb. Oh, and I guess the UI is pretty slick, but then again, it's a short kinetic novel, so who cares?

Fantastic game assuming you are into the obvious kinks - can be completed relatively quickly but is well written and coded very well. Never ran into any issues or bugs and enjoyed playing throughout. It was great having your Scar-Jo lookalike mom and adorable heterochromic sister both fall in love with you.

Three stars is a bit harsh, but the laziness of putting together random, out-of-scale models and then hiding behind ‘of course she's very tall’ is quite ridiculous.

This aspect is really annoying in practically every scene where there aren't just the three main characters.

Another flaw is the pace. It starts off at the right slow pace, which is essential in incest games, but then at a certain point it goes full speed ahead, rushing through all the sex scenes to reach a truly unsatisfactory ending.

Otherwise, it's an honest game that gives you what you expect.

I would love to see Mia in other games its a good game but its small wished for more. the graphics were good the story has potential and the sarah was cute but i wish he do more in the story maybe in mafia things his past

This is a very sexy game. The plot is also pretty engaging for what it is. Very much worth your time if you think the models look hot.

I wish there were more sex scenes, but you can't really fault a game too much for wanting more of it.

I should probably look into grandma's house lol.

A Soldier's Struggle is a shorter, around 3 hours long game about a soldier being discharged from the army, coming home after being involved in some traumatic events. This is basically a game about power of love healing a guy harassed by dramatic events from the past. And of course, family love is the most powerful one. So we have a kind, loving mother, cute sister and douchebag father. We all know how this is going to end, right? The game is short, but there is actually enough amount of buildup and relationship development. Sister of course always loved us, and mother being in unhappy marriage, without any sex for 20 years is reluctant at first but love is too strong to resist. Writing is solid and game progress at pretty decent pace. Game is completely linear, without any choices, only one ending but that's fine by me. Game ends in satisfactional way with very fitting end.

Visuals are pretty ok, nothing great but it's sufficient. Render and models are solid, can't really say anything explicitly bad about them. There are no animations in this game, thats not a big deal but it's a bit disappointing nowadays. There are only like 8 scenes in the game but they're, again, pretty solid. For me, maybe just not enough different camera angles but outside of that everything is fine. They're pretty hot and taboo atmosphere is pretty strong here. Dialogues during scenes are also ok. No music and sound which, again, is pretty disappointing nowadays.

A Soldier's Struggle is a good game. It's short but long enough to make a proper impression. Setting is pretty generic but the MC story background and how it's affecting current events is done pretty well. In general, it's a quite enjoyable experience. And remember, love always is the answer for all problems and traumas.

Fairly short but oh so hot. If you've ever fantasized about knocking up your mom as played by Scarlett Johanson, well this is the game for you lol.

Wish there was a few more scenes with the sister, but overall a very good story and good scenes. Bit of a rushed ending as well, but the overall feel of the game is really good! Recommend the game, just know that there are no animations if that is important to you

Solid 4,5 stars, wish the sex scenes were animated.

I give it 5 stars because giving it 4 would be underrating it. This is a rather short VN with great renders and a nice belivable and plausible story.

The mom is hot but personally i prefred the sister, sadly she doesn't have near as much content as the mother has.

Excellent novel. Funny how the mother resembles ScarJo. Pretty hot in my opinion and getting to nail the sister is an added bonus. Another great one by Moonbox. I can only hope that they make another just like this one or another in line with Grandma's House. Either way, TOTAL win.

Short and sweet, and a nice whole arc. I didn't realize that it was the same creator of Grandma's house after he makes the PUN in Game.

A big plus is how the models look like Scar Jo. Not too many scenes overall but still good . They introduce side characters and it feels like there's going to be something but nothing happens. It's only the main L.

Completed Version. Simple, straightforward Kinetic Novel, no choices, no stats just a story.

A good (incest) story that is accompanied by excellent renders, very good writing.

Not a kink fest (aside from the Mom/Sister and grown adult son banging). So nice and vanilla, long too long but decent enough to tell a complete story from beginning to end.

Really like this project, its a one and done, finished project with a clear ending and very nice graphics.

I played this Game and i must say I love this Fantastic Kinetic Novel. There is a great credible Story (No College Boy) about the MC. Wonderful Renders. and well written. I wish and hope that the Developer tell us more Storys.

Magnificent. Moonbox really hit it out of the park with this one. The character models were top notch, and the story was exceptional. I loved every aspect of it. The erotic scenes were extremely satisfying despite having no animation, and the finale at the end *chefs kiss* 10/10
