Your Aunt / Niece / Nephew etc. are just as closely related to you as your parents:
- Everyone is 50% related to each of their parent, because children get 50% genes* from the father and 50% from the mother.
- Which puts parents on the same cosanguinity degree like half-siblings, who get 50% genes from one of your parents and 50% from an unrelated person.
- The siblings of your parents (aunt/uncle) are still 50% related to you, same like the children of full siblings** (niece/nephew).
- Only full siblings are 100% related to each other, since they get 100% of their genes from the same parents, and share 100% same ancestors.
(* Of course the actual number of inherited genes differs from these relationship degrees, except for identical twins
(** Technically a niece/nephew has 1 additional ancestor - your sister/brother - but that's only relevant for traditional roman-catholic cosanguinity degrees, which used to count the number of common ancestors
