Excellent eroge with good art, decent story, and fun gameplay. The protagonist is a clever and resourceful person who must navigate complex relationships and social situations, making choices that impact the outcome of the story. The visual novel format allows for immersive storytelling, and the game's multiple endings add replayability. Recommended for fans of erotic games with a focus on character development and decision-making.

Its fairly average but not bad by any means. You'll definitely have a better time if you use a save editor so you can breeze through the combat because otherwise it can be tedious, unless thats your cup of tea.
In terms of scenes, they're okay, but sometimes you have to suspend your disbelief. I'd also like to point out that some of the scenes are mandatory, which I tend to not be a fan of. The corruption levels also don't really make sense. The girls can essentially be a prostitute fairly early in the game. They have a whole recruiting party system but theres only really one guy to recruit. Not enough optional stuff in my opinion. It has its pros, but those pros are essentially just meeting baseline of what it takes to be decent. But it's enough to get the job done.

This game is really grindy. I spent an hour, about two thirds of which was just walking through long maps and beating weak mobs... It's just not worth the time. The girls are kind of hot I guess, but nothing you haven't seen before.

Alright, I've played A Tale of Two Swords by Enuemu.

    Lets jump right into it.

    The Story
Like many other RPGM games, the story is not particularly memorable. The heroines are hunting for some Holy sword for whatever reason and it is your job to get them there. Don't go for this game if the story is what really drives you.

    The porn content and art
The art is unfortunately censored. The parts that you can see is decent enough, although not really my type.

The porn is also oddly forced into the game in certain areas. I have tried to make my examples as spoiler free as possible, but I've added it into the spoiler tags just in case that you don't want to have anything spoiled. The point being that certain parts of the porn feels forced into the story, doesn't make much sense or isn't even commented on.

    The game play
Many RPGM games has the problem that their maps are huge without any other reason than them being so. This means you end up spending a ton of time running around for no good reason. This game partially falls into this as well: the cities of this game are very small and concentrated. In this way you can very quickly get to where you want to go - armory, general goods, the inn etc etc. But it also means that the cities has no feeling/theme to them - which is the case for most of the game anyway. The open areas are very different as they are huge and made in ways where you have to travel all across it to find various chests. I don't particularly like that as the vast space serves no real purpose. I'd like it better if a mini-boss would guard a chest, but that it on the other hand was on the main path to the next area.

Combat: There's a bunch of combat in this game, which often ends up being quite repetitive. Nothing of interest really happens in the battles, and it quickly becomes something I'd rather be without. That said, there's an interesting role system that allows you to change what type/class your heroines have. While it doesn't make combat all that more interesting, it does at least change out some of the repetitiveness.

    The Translation
    The translation is fine.

    To sum it up:
    The Good
    • The combat part has a role/class system, that mitigates some of the repetitiveness that usually haunts the combat of RPGM games.
    • Good translation

    The In-between
    • The cities are very small, which means that you save time on travel. But it also means that they don't have any feel to them.
    • The story is bland.
    • The clothes of the heroines can be damaged, but it isn't made in a particularly convincing style, and it has no impact on combat that I know of.
    • The story is predictably "meh".

    The Bad
    • Some of the porn feels very much forced into situations where it doesn't make a whole of sense.
So, my final verdict is that A Tale of Two Swords is quite average.

    Rastafoo

This game is a good RPG title with nice art and characters...
but I cannot give it five stars for a couple of key reasons

    1) Unavoidable rape scene after a boss battle (even if you beat the boss)
    2) Only 3 towns in the game, all are small and extremely limited
    3) Often back to back boss battles without warning when you have low HP, forcing save scumming or rape scenes.

There's also the issue that level ups don't usually effect your stats. Each level up will raise your max HP by 20, but that's pretty much it. I just tested it and my DEF & AGI remained unchanged. So what's the point of level ups when really its a game all about equipment.

And there aren't really any choices like with skill points or stat boosters. Instead this game relies on money to purchase new skills. But many of the skills are virtually identical and don't feel distinct at all.

Not to mention certain character classes like the prostitute class are obtuse to find without a guide. In that example in particular you have to go to a room that is not traditionally accessible. If you try to ascend those stairs, you won't be able to, so you have to come back randomly at a later date. So too with the 10,000 gold special spa item, which cannot be activated until you fulfill invisible requirements.

I like this game, but its not 5 star material. There are just too many bumps to call this a true classic.

RPGM game with generic RPG and grinding and H-stat.
Surely this game offers a good rpg aspect and also beautiful CG, it has "class" system which makes even more interesting.

    Pros:
    + Strong RPG element.
    + Good class system.
    + Beautiful CG.
    + Okay story.
+ Different class = different outfit.

    Cons:
    - There's a "lesbian" route but it's hidden and only a few.
    - Quite grindy.
    - Not replay worthy (but is a good fap material).

Veredict I wanna give it 4.5/5 but dev deserve 5 star.

RPGM game with lewd stat tracking and the same old tired RPGM combat.
It's completely generic, and even for its time didn't do anything spectacular. The art is nice, though, and the grind isn't overbearing. There's also a very healthy number of scenes and art. And a gallery, which modern games seem to have forsaken for whatever reason.

Some of it is great, some of it not so much. The "addon" content being completely bare-bones, for one thing.
For another, the requirements for the "good"\"true"\"hidden" ending being a nonsensical pile of dross (without spoiling, it requires a particular something at a specific point in the game, after which that something is no longer needed and can be disregarded entirely).
A third thing to mention is that the girls do have a lesbian scene. Singular. Like many other games of its kind, it's token and insulting since it happens and then all mention of such feelings between the girls collapses into a big black hole and disappears to nothing.

For the sake of completeness (and the reviewing rules), here's how to improve this game:
    1. Add some kind of minigame. RPGM combat fills the space, I get it, but if that's all you have then you're going to bore me to sodding tears. A puzzle, a minesweeper minigame, a match three minigame, a hidden object or where's wally or ANYTHING that isn't "Spam attack, use heal between fights, repeat" battle of freaking attrition where your stats scale up linearly to match the enemies and you invariably win.
    2. The "addon" content needs to make more sense, because right now it's a linearly scripted pile of nonsense. Both narratively as well as gameplay wise it needs a significant overhaul.
    3. This one is a spoiler. I repeat, spoiler. If you continue reading this point you lose all rights to complain. Now, you mean to tell me that no matter how corrupted and slutty the girls are, if they are virgins at the swamp town point they'll get together and sleep with each other, which unlocks the "true" ending, but if they aren't they won't. So really, what you're saying is that as long as neither girl has ever had a man inside her vagina, no matter how many men have been in their other holes, they can be lesbians. But as soon as one of them got penetrated once by a man, being together with the other girl is no longer an option. That. Does. Not. Make. Sense. A corruption threshold should be added to make sure the girls aren't slutty enough to walk around nude or prostitute their asses (literally).

But all in all, it's an old RPGM game with multiple endings (including a "purity run" ending), corruption and that same old RPGM combat.
A 3/5 ("Average") that loses a point to blandness and boredom but gains two for the art.

    Final Score: 4/5.
