Cant say I'm a fan.
This is pretty clearly a summertime saga rip off but its categorically worse in every way.
I appreciate that the creator went with their own minimalist art style but during the sex scenes, its sorta difficult to get turned on by things that look like they were made using the MS paint shape creation tool.
As for story - its a really slow burn. I lost interest very quickly. You have this town with a portal to another dimension in it and the MC goes through it and is like "huh weird, oh well" and then ignores it. every sex scene is separated by a few hours of dialogue, most of which is just pointless prattle. The dev saw fit to force the player to engage in "minigames" to progress the story however most of them arent even games, you just click things until its over. Theres no, test of skill, judgement of quality or failure state so its literally just a waste of time. (Specifically the copier mini game).
Finally and most importantly I found the relationships to be disappointing in the extreme. This portion will be very spoiler heavy. First, let me preface this with saying that I thought this was a harem game, in which the MC cultivates relationships with several women at the same time, and I guess thats not the case. You sleep with several women, but the character isnt really in a relationship with any of them. I would also like to say that I usually dont care if the girls in a game get with each other, provided they each still care for the MC. Its not something I seek out, but I also dont really care if it happens. But in this game I do.... let me explain. In this game when the girls sleep with other girls I wont call it NTR but is also not exactly above board either. Lets start with the roommate/sister character. You have to do a dozen side quests a huge number of stat checks and an emotional side story involving depression and the father character symbolically destroying her childhood by ripping up her fort. Finally after all of that she starts hanging out with and sleeping with the MC, but like three scenes later you find out shes also just sleeping with the lifeguard, Effie, and is actively working to hide the sexual nature of her relationship with the landlady, who is another character you have to jump through 100 hoops to even get her to look at the MC. The emotional and psychological value of sex between the characters in this game is practically nothing, they will drop their panties at a glance from another NPC, but the MC has to topple government sponsored shadow corporations and traverse the multiverse to get even half as much attention. Get what I mean? Like these girls are so on guard but only against the MC, theyre all 100% into eachother and take pains to either tell or show the MC they are NOT emotionally invested in him at all (except the yandere counselor), but they'll throw you a pity fuck if you save the world.
After a while the MC felt like the unwanted third wheel forcing himself into these relationships. It really rubbed me the wrong way.
