apparently you have to talk to the sis in her room, i didn't see that and just tried leaving for school

i'm back, sorry this game makes no scene to me, it's to confusing
phone says: wait for Effie to call in my bedroom. (never happens no matter how much i sleep or nap)
phone says: mom "study in class to learn new things" basicly, know i need int to use the antivirus, i have like half the bar full, do i need it maxed out to use antivirus?
phone says check sisters room, every time i go to her room (she either is not there and nothing happens or she is there and spouts off about being in her room and nothing happens?)
Effie: when i talk to her about meeting up after dark at her work, go to her house as objectives says. (nothing happens just get option to knock on door and talk to dad everytime)

and i'm all but being forced to spam the sleep button now just to advance in the game, in the class room, the study options are completely broken, it seems. i'm level 12 int and i try to study normal or heavy and the fails it every time, so i'm stuck studying casually and spamming the sleep button because all i can do is study anymore in the game .
SMH whatever nevermind, moving on to the next game, was really hoping this would be like summertime saga, guess not, thank for letting me try, but i give up

Wait for Effie to call: Happens at some point, it's scheduled on a certain day I think and you gotta visit your room multiple times a day.
Antivirus: You probably need it maxed out, I don't know the thresholds but games like this tend to want you to grind so probably, it's been a while now since I've played. Are you already fixing mom's laptop? That's the only thing you need it for.
Check sister's room: I think you gotta do that at night to get that specific event, so before you go to sleep. There's 2 night times btw, check the clock, there's evening and late night. Gotta get the right one.
Meeting Effie: Likely the same thing, there's two different night times, and a third if you nap at night, you might also wanna look around the house I vaguely remember there being some point where you gotta go around the house and not the front door, if nothing else works the developer might've messed up when they disabled the Effie booty call.

1) Don't worry, the game is made to be that way, it takes A LOT of time to trigger, I'm pretty sure it's not a bug, just a rare game desing
2) Not really sure about, I'm pretty sure it doesn't need to be maxed but do it just in case. Just to be clear, learning about the antivirus is something you learn on your pc, not on school
3) I should know more about this (which was the las event with sis) to know what to say, try checking her room in the four times, not sure if it's something that will trigger by just entering the room or maybe clicking on any object so check evertyhing you see
4) I don't remember Effie's things at all but people was talking about a bug similar to what you are describing, so maybe you are dealing with the same thing, I don't know if there is solution for that bug yet or if it was patche on v0.23d, if that's the case the you will have to wait

thank you guys for all your help and a little under standing about the game, unfortunately this game is for the better term "to much of a confusing dumpster fire to play" and i'm done banging my head over it, and i know a lot of time and effort go in to these games and sometime they till don't function properly. thank you again for your guys help, hope someday all the kinks get worked out properly with more stable updates, take care

You could just use the cheat system, you don't have to drop it immediately.
Max out your stats and relationships and just linearly go through the plot.
It'll be a lot more interesting that way if you don't have to force yourself through the puzzles.
That's what I'm thinking of doing if this ever gets another update.

If you think that's the best thing to do go ahead, but I really love this game so it's kinda sad for me to see you leave like that, I would recomend you the same thing as the guy above me but using cheats, just max every stat using cheats and save every 3 or 4 steps and use the time machine if something doesn't work.
I personally do that every new version because 1) to minimize problems and getting the most of the story and 2) I would have to wait a looong time if I wait for Geeseki to fix everthing (but the game is awesome so I'm happy anyway)

thank you both, i took your guys advice and figured out how to use the cheat system and timetravel.exe on MC's pc thing to be able to advance the sister plot for me to be able to finish the game more. helpful little tool, i like it, wish more games implemented it for their buggs workarounds. btw, it is a 100% easier with cheats now not having to with the stat system anymore, cheers.

Yeah, games like this and Legend of Krystal Rebirth are really annoying about grinding up arbitrary stats for a long time so this is a totally viable way to go and unlike other games(like action games) it doesn't take away from the experience since you're in it for the story and the lewds which you get anyway. i just really wish the game would quit breaking all the time, now the phone and the game is saying to look for the mother, the mother is in her room i talked to her twice and the game keep saying to find her over and over again, she is nowhere else in the house to find her at other then her room, she just stays in her room and says" are you looking for something", and MC say "a purpose in life.. blah blah.." and then nothing happens and the game wont even let me sleep anymore game keeps saying "you need to find your mom first". i don't like force advancing the story i feel like i'm missing something when i do it but the game keeps breaking for no reason, and i lose scenes, dialog, all that, force advancing?

If you are where I think you are, you will "find her" in the park at night (I don't remember which night) but I don't remeber reading that bug in this thread before so maybe I'm thinking something different

thank you very much, what a pain in the butt, i must have talk to her like 20+ times in her room getting the exact same dialog over and over again.
help bois i can't do the "go and ask effie to get sister back home" task, i can't figure where do i need to be at what time to trigger the event... help a man out !

If you already got the 50/60 boxes to re-do the fort, it was just talking to her in her house (I think it was in the afternoon but I'm not sure) I don't remember anything tricky in that one
actually sad to know that's how u are supposed to trigger the event because in my run it doesn't do anything
