I didn't tell it's a plagiarism. The truth is - and YOU KNOW IT - that he played SS, he liked it and decided to imitate DC.
The point is that all of the basic elements of the game are a damn SS carbon copy. Just download the early releases and compare them to SS's early releases: just compare ATU's MC bedroom to SS's MC bedroom.
That's not really plagiarism. Any MC bedroom would include a bed, computer desk and a wardrobe. I mean that's pretty much the necessity. Peeping in the bathroom is also common. Most porn games will have the same elements so I am not that surprised.

It's not plagiarism, it's just purely coincidence and a matter of common sense.

This reminds me of the Fine Brothers from YouTube who thinks React videos was their idea and they have all the rights. Everyone had that idea back then when there wasn't internet.

Shouldn't you then include "the twist" in this as well? The MC got like a bed, computer, desk, and a wardrobe of sorts there too. Oh and a mom, sister, going to school... oh spy on activity in bathroom too. Or is there a single detail you want to get to here?
I would agree even if the first few releases were near carbon copies of SS the general story has evolved far away from each other.
SS seems to be about the mafia wanting money mc dad owed them while this is about a parallel universe that has no sexual morals.

0 mate... but i am sad for the people who pay... i think a better developer and who truly deserve that 4 k is n and this guy maybe 1 k
I agree with your statement. There are adult game developers who work twice as harder than GeeSeki could produce.
Though I don't know how GeeSeki lives and work. If he has a day job or go to school full-time, that is understandable. But if he doesn't have either of them and he's just making profits by uploading small updates, he's much of a scammer in a way.

He makes some promises, but I haven't seen any changes in the story since last year. It's always been small updates on adding new locations which doesn't do anything and Mom's side story.

It's all hypothetical theories. Sometime I feel like GeeSeki is just reeling in the money from Patreon and that's it.

I don't think you know the meaning of "carbon copy". Also no one gives a fuck if this game is similar to others, every incest game follows the exact same basic formula and if you think SS is even in the first thousand to use that formula then that already says a lot on how your brain works.

Wtf happened here? I decided to avoid this game for a while to see it grow in content and when I come back the comments are basically a shit shows.

plagiarism does t mean what you think it means. You do realize the basis of this came is quite literally every incest game I've played that is basis of every life simulator, right? Literally you might as well call SS a carbon copy of just about what, every Russian QSP incest life simulator game that came before it

Are we back to this "GeeSeki is plagiarizing SS" thing? Seriously guys... It's been almost an year. Saying this game plagiarizes SS is the same as saying GoT plagiarizes The Tudors or vice versa.

They are distinct games, with distinct stories centered around the same theme, and that's all it is.

Yikes, I know it's common place to look down on people who don't give to the patreon and mooch off of the posts here but as someone who spent money on this and the last few updates GS's progress is definitely bordering on suspiciously light.

To those who call this a bugfest: look at the version number. you can see an "a" after the number. that's because it's an alpha. bugfixes will come out during this week. it's like this every month.
This would be true if the non alpha versions of this game would not have had many bugs in the past.

There is always work you see in regard of new content and so on, and then there is work you don't see. work on code, mechanic, bug fixing and so forth. Unless you pick apart the code and compare to earlier releases. You can't really tell I guess.

People vote with their money, if pledges feel cheated they stop pledge, and income will drop. If he keep gain he must done something right. Its like people get upset, heated and some sort of entitlement as soon as money get involved. "You working for me now!"... It doesn't work like that, and it's not what Patreon is about.

Most of the time patrons simply forget they are pledging to a creator. That or they simply don't mind it at all.

Your point?

Just because an earlier version didn't had that many bugs it becomes mandatory that the next one (which sometimes adds new content and mechanics) has even less?

That's not really how software developing work... The games on patreon all are going through development process, what we get are test versions (alpha, beta, etc), so it's expected for them to be riddled with bugs. We are supporting the creator but we're also doing the tester's job and, I think that's pretty much implyed on this kind of dealing.

For someone who's working alone (as stated before) this guy is doing a pretty good job, so cut him some slack.

Is there a changelog, or can someone tell me if it's actually decent this time?
It's a good game but the updates are ridiculously light so want to know if it's best to wait again...
